Spiritual Awakening. How to find God? Meditation: What Is It? Learning about Self-awareness.

The real comprehension of Life requires a vision free from illusion. The way we experience, in thought, is invariably always like this, coming from a mistake of ideas, beliefs, conclusions, and evaluations. This is how this 'I,' this 'me,' this 'person' experiences life.

Here we are investigating with you the Truth of the Revelation of That which is present here and which shows itself beyond the 'I' and, therefore, beyond this format of dealing with life, of dealing with the moment, of dealing with experience. In general, our criterion comes from the experiencer. So, we have to investigate this.

What are our experiences? They are experiences that happen from an entity that sees itself as present; this entity is this 'person,' it is this 'me.' This is how our experiences are; in them we have the presence of this experiencer and the situation, the event, which is the experience. This brings us closer to life in duality. We have, on one side, the experience, and on the other side, the experiencer.

The experiencer is the person that I am, and the experience is what I am living. That is what we are investigating here, the fallacy of this, the illusion present in this posture, in this condition of contact with life. The presence of this experiencer in the experience is the illusion of an entity being present.

When you come and ask: 'What is Spiritual Awakening?' It is the awareness of Life without the experiencer, it is the understanding of Existence without the 'I,' it is the perception of Reality when there is no longer this illusion, this separation, this idea of someone within life. Your Natural State of Being is One with Life, which represents this Real encounter with God. When you ask the question 'How to find God?', here is the answer: by assuming the Reality of Being, that which is present here is the Divine Reality.

We were educated into the belief that God is there, somewhere, distant and separate from 'me': 'I am here and He is there. I need to have a meeting with Him.' Notice, once again we place the image of an experience to be attained in the future, an experience for this experiencer. Thus, we were taught, educated into this belief, into this model, into this pattern of intellectual affirmation of this idea: the idea is 'I' and the 'non-I,' 'I' and God.

Thus, we have devoted ourselves to all kinds of paths, spiritual practices, techniques, teachings, to discover how to have this meeting, how to attain this meeting, and the idea is, basically, tomorrow, in this future of the mind, which is the psychological future. It is thought that projects this meeting, imagines this meeting, idealizes this meeting as an experience. It is thought, in this format of the thinker, that imagines the future for itself, having this meeting with God.

Divine Reality is the awareness of this Being, and awareness of this Being is the awareness of Life, and this is not something that separates itself from That which is You in your Divine Nature, in your Real Nature. How can we become aware of this? Through Meditation! Therefore, what is Meditation? 'Tell us about Meditation.' Most of us expect a teaching, a technique, a path. Meditation is the Flowering of your Being. There is no path to Meditation, there is no technique for Meditation.

Your contact with Meditation is your contact with yourself, and this is not learned from someone; we become aware of this. Here, there is a way of approaching this. Yes, there is a way, but it is not as thought imagines. The way of approaching the awareness that reveals God, which is the presence of Meditation, is learning to look without someone, to listen without someone.

Have you ever noticed that when you are in a place like by the edge of a river, watching the waters flowing, and your eyes, at that moment, are looking at those waters. See, this looking, when the eyes meet the waters, that light upon the waters, those trees around there, this meeting, in this looking, is only the looking. Have you ever noticed that at this moment there is no one looking, there is only the looking?

This 'someone' arises when a thought about that arises. But when there is only the looking, this someone does not exist; we do not have the presence of this someone because we do not have a thought about that, to like or dislike, to say: 'How beautiful this is!' 'What a wonderful place!' When thoughts like these arise, at that moment you arise and the looking is lost; it is no longer there. At that moment, you are present absorbed in a psychological condition of idea, which is the presence of thought. But when there is only the looking, there is no thought, there is no idea, there is no image whatsoever about that. It is only the looking, and in that instant there is no 'I,' there is no psychological background to like or dislike, to appreciate or not appreciate.

There is a quality of Being present, and this Being is the Nature of Life, it is the Divine Nature. At this moment, for a few seconds, this state of mind changes: the mind quiets, your brain becomes silent, and in that instant there is an encounter with Meditation. This happens when you are before a sunset or a sunrise. For a few seconds, there is no one in this looking, in this perceiving, in this verifying.

Here, the presence of Meditation, in the same way that you did not learn how to look at that river, that sunset, here we do not need to learn how to look, it is just to look. To look at a thought that arises carrying a sensation, or a feeling that arises loaded with a quality of thoughts, just look, without interfering with it. In this looking, something reveals itself beyond this 'I,' so this thought does not sustain itself, this feeling and thought do not establish themselves.

Thus, the mind quiets, the brain becomes silent, and a new, inner space opens up; in this space, Meditation reveals itself. It is not someone meditating. It is the presence of the space of Silence itself, of stillness, of the absence of this 'I,' of the absence of this one to interfere, the very presence of Meditation. Therefore, learning about Self-awareness is becoming aware of these reactions when they arise, without interfering with them. Then, at this moment, the presence of Meditation reveals itself.

Therefore, what is Meditation? Meditation, what is it? It is the presence of this instant without the 'I.' And when we have this instant without the 'I,' we have the presence of Life. As there is no separation between Life as it is and the Reality of this Being, here we have the answer to the question 'How to find God?' It is present here. There is a Reality present; it is not the reality of someone, it is not the reality of something; it is the Truth of this Being, it is That which is here beyond everything, beyond names and forms.

Thus, the verification of the Truth of God consists in the Awareness of Being; this reveals this Natural State free from the 'I,' free from the 'ego.' This is the presence of Spiritual Awakening or Spiritual Awakening. Therefore, we need to discover, at this moment, what it is to have contact with this instant without the past. Without the past is without the idea of what this represents, it is without the interpretation that thought generally makes about life as it happens. Without the past, it is without choice, it is without liking and disliking. Without the past, it is without the image of what this represents.

It is very common for your contact with people to be established in this format. You are always dealing with people based on ideas you have about them. These ideas are the images you have of him or her. These images are memories you keep in this contact with him or her. Thus, we are constantly reinforcing this experiencer, because in life we are having experiences all the time.

A real invitation to this state free from the 'ego,' free from the 'I,' is the invitation to an experiencing without the experiencer, to a perceiving without the perceiver, to a relation without this background that sustains relationships, which is the image, the memory, the recollection of him or her. That is, when we no longer have the presence of the past, we no longer have the importance, the specialism of an identity that sees itself as present to control the situation, seeing itself as the center of the experience. This is the 'I,' the 'ego,' the presence of the experiencer.

Thus, to look at the moment, to look at life without the observer, to listen to the moment without this element that listens, is to no longer feed this specialism of the 'I.' And, thus, we discover that Life happens when there is no longer this someone. This is a vision of the Totality of Life without this psychological background. Therefore, your real encounter with God is the verification that what is present here is not the 'I,' is not the ego.

Notice that we are talking to you here about something natural. It is not something that is achieved, that is attained through effort. Thus, the presence of Meditation does not happen through effort, the vision of Self-awareness does not arise through effort. When we discover what it is to simply look, listen, perceive, we have the Revelation of That which is present here when the 'I' is not, when the 'ego' is not. And, thus, it becomes clear, in this relation with the life around us, that we are before Love, before Peace, before Freedom. This is the Peace in each one of us, the Love present, something innate, it is the Truth of this Being in each one of us.

This entity that separates itself does not exist, this 'me' that makes itself present does not exist. The presence of this vision, the presence of this understanding is the presence of God. Therefore, we need to become aware of this in life. Therefore, when we become aware of that which is present here, this relation becomes clear, this relation with actions, with thoughts, as well as with feelings, without someone present in this contact, in this relation. This quality of action is no longer the action of someone; it is the action of the Unknown, of That which is indescribable.

Contact with the Divine Reality is the end for the mind as we know it, for all the patterns of adjustments within ideas, beliefs, concepts, as we know them. Something new is present, and this something new means this action that is not born from the 'I,' it is action that is born from this Intelligence, from this Freedom. This occurs when we free ourselves from this false action of the 'I,' when we free ourselves from this idea of someone being present, when we free ourselves from this 'me.' Then, That which is eternal reveals itself, That which is unnameable, indescribable.

The very awareness of God is the Truth about You and, naturally, about the other. A Life free from suffering, free from confusion, free from disorder is the only Real Life. It is no longer life as thought knows it and recognizes it from itself; it is Life as it truly is when there is no longer the illusion of the 'I.'

The 'I' has created in us the illusion of what should be. The vision of life shows us, clearly, that there is no such thing as 'what should be'; it is Life as it is. To comprehend the Truth is Wisdom, it is the presence of Intelligence and of response free from the past. That is what we are interested in here with you. Our meetings are weekend meetings; we are Saturday and Sunday together.

I want to leave an invitation here for you. It is two days in an online format for us to deepen this. You have here, in the video description, our WhatsApp link to participate in these online meetings on the weekends. In addition to these meetings, we have in-person meetings and also retreats.
