It seems to me that the most fundamental thing for all of us is to have a different approach, as I have been saying here on the channel. It is not a question of getting closer to listening to a speech like this and having an intellectual, theoretical, conceptual understanding of it and simply agreeing with what is stated here or disagreeing with it. What we really need is to study what is presented here to see if it has a basis for each of us. That is the purpose of these meetings here on the channel.
So, it is about you participating in this with an approach where you study, within yourself, what we are putting here. We need a deep, meaningful, true change… In fact, something very radical within each of us. We need a quality of mind that is not that common to all.
We have a political, we have a social, we have a philosophical, we have a so-called 'spiritual' mind, and we have a religious mind. The political mind is linked to the ideological system, political principles. The philosophical mind is the same thing. The religious mind, for example, is connected to a diverse system of beliefs within patterns of religious culture or organized religion.
We need a New Mind, a New Vision of life, a New Vision of who we are. So, yes, we can approach the different situations in life, here, in existence, going beyond all that. Then, it seems fundamental to get closer to it with a new vision, not with those particular viewpoints of this trained mind.
I have called it psychological conditioning, whether political, religious, philosophical, or so-called “spiritual” … We have a way of approaching life from these viewpoints. That is something very limited, very narrow. Is there a new way to approach this? That is the intention within this channel – to have an approach to the Truth of life.
So, studying life, this extraordinary movement that is life means studying ourselves and becoming aware of what goes on inside us. We need a direct and objective vision of what is really necessary in our existence, relationships, and contact with the world. It is important to say this to you here and that you verify this for yourself, within yourself. This contact with the world, with the outside, requires you to be internally free.
So, it is a New Mind that we need. Not the political, philosophical, spiritualist, or religious mind, in the sense of organized religion. The real religious mind is the religious life, but it has nothing to do with organized religion. It has nothing to do with doctrines, beliefs, mystical practices, rituals, and ceremonies, as it happens in organized religions. A religious life is free from this sense of separateness. It is the Awareness of the Divine Reality present in living. That is a religious life.
That is present when there is no longer this “I,” this ego, and therefore, there is no longer the separation between you and God, you and the other, you and life. Notice the beauty of this; follow this here. If this is present, there are no more problems. Our problems are present because there is the sense of someone in confrontation, in a fight, in a battle, in a separation, in this challenge that is this extraordinary challenge of life. So, as long as there is this separateness, it is “I” and “not I”; it is this “me” and this “not me,” the subject and the object.
This sense of separation, that pattern of separateness, sustains life in conflict, contradiction, struggle, battle, and confrontation. Here, therefore, we are working with you to end this “I” and, of course, this battle, conflict, duality, and separation between the “I” and the “not I,” this “me” and “not me,” between subject and object. A life centered on the “I” is a life in contradiction.
So, the way to approach life cannot be from viewpoints already declared flawed, mistaken, or distorted, as these conclusions, opinions, and beliefs within that political, philosophical, and religious mind, in this mind that represents a tradition and a culture. When we look at this tradition and culture, we perceive contradiction, disorder, and suffering. So, it is already more than proven that our ideologies, opinions, beliefs, and our particular viewpoints have not worked.
An approach to studying ourselves, to observing the movement of the “I,” that restless movement of thoughts – which are opinions, judgments, comparisons, evaluations, and beliefs – the observation of this is the emptying of this content. So, we have a New Mind, a truly religious mind, in this religious life. However, this religious mind is not a person's mind. The religious life is not a person's life.
The presence of that which is New, unknown, the Reality of God, the Reality of this Intelligence… When this Consciousness awakens, it is the Awakening of Consciousness. In this Awakening of Consciousness, there is the Awakening of a New Mind, a Free Mind, or a Religious Mind. So, it seems to me that this is what we should be interested in. Then, I consider that this is what we must have as a real interest in life, in living. Thus, this meeting has this purpose. We are studying this with those who come closer.
Notice that human beings have shown great interest in all this technological, scientific, and humanist progress. Indeed, we have progressed and evolved. We have explored the depths of the sea and gone to space. There is a huge evolution in medical science and technology. And all this is indeed amazing. It allows us, for example, a meeting like this because of all this technological and scientific evolution.
However, none of this is enough. We are still lacking something else. Why does none of this work? Because all this is within this dream of living. It is within this dream of this so-called “our life” in the “I,” the person. We are always using this already programmed, conditioned intellect – this technologically, scientifically, spiritually conditioned intellect – and it has proved to be insufficient to reach something beyond this dream.
Something beyond this dream is something beyond the conditioned intellect. Something beyond this dream of life, of human existence, and the human mind, is something beyond this conditioned mind. That becomes possible when there is the Awakening of this Intelligence, the Awakening of this Truth, which is Consciousness. The Truth of this Consciousness is not this consciousness in the “I.” It is not this consciousness of “I.” It is not this egoic consciousness. The Truth of your Being, the Truth of God, the Truth of Love, the Truth of Compassion, only this realizes What is present here. Only this demonstrates and makes clear What is present here. Only this is real. What is here, but which goes beyond this limitation of the dream: this is the Realization of God.
Our work here consists of this discovery, this realization, the vision of this Truth about who we are. We have these videos here on the channel to study with you, to investigate it with you. We have several playlists here. An approach to this requires true Self-awareness. It is an approach – and I always say this here – to the Truth about the correct Meditation, which is True Meditation. It is a life in Love, Peace, a free life, a life in Freedom, a life in this Awareness of the Truth of your Being, which is the Truth of God.
So, notice this: the end to this dream or to this condition of life only in a dream... Thus, the end to this limitation – which is this merely human condition of life, in this human mind – to a Real life, which is the True Divine life, the True Religious life, that is something possible when we go beyond this condition of mere experience.
Our life is a life of experience. We are always in this experiencing, transforming this into an experience because there is no such thing as a living experience here and now. We are always giving continuity to an experiencer within that experience. It is when all this experiencing, which is what takes place here and now, at this instant, we place in it the element which is the “I,” which is the experiencer. When we do that, our life becomes an experience.
So, we are always living experiences. We are keeping and accumulating these experiences. Our life consists of living, having, retaining, and cultivating experiences. That always places us as someone who is this experiencer, turning all these moments of pure experiencing into experiences.
So, what happens? We do not see this moment as it is. There is not this direct experiencing of life happening. This experiencing becomes possible when that sense of an “I,” of an ego, that sense of a person who is an experiencer, is not present. We do not know what that is. We are continually putting this “I,” this ego, this person, this experiencer into this instant. And when that happens, we turn that experiencing into something for that “me,” for that experiencer.
Then, our life consists of going through, living, and keeping experiences. We are all the time registering what we go through, and we are repeating it continuously. There is always a sense of an “I” present. This illusion of an identity present becomes very real when there is this pattern of accumulating, saving, and preserving experiences.
So, there's always this “I,” this ego, the sense of someone being present. A classic example of this is the contact we have with people. We keep from them not just a simple memory of the shape of their faces, gestures, appearance, and name. We also keep from them this “like or dislike that person,” which represents an image within us about who that person is. Then, we have a conviction, a belief, a concept, or a previously established prejudiced viewpoint due to a contact we have already had. We are constantly bringing an experience into this present moment. This moment is incomplete; we are continually preserving an image of the other.
Then, the image I have of her and the image she has of me meet each other. And when there is an encounter between images, in fact, a meeting between experiences, there is not this Truth of experiencing here and now, free. Because, actually, it is a meeting between the sense of an “I” here and an “I” there. This quality of meeting is of conflict. So, there is always that struggle, that self-centeredness, self-interest, and, of course, that illusion.
Thus, what we know as life consists of the continuity of that experiencer having experiences and saving them. We live always keeping from the other in the relationship, in this practice, in this habit of always keeping experiences, we are continually keeping from the other this liking and disliking. So, we live always being hurt, injured, offended, praised, applauded, and recognized.
So, we carry this like or dislike in this continuity of experiencing. That has been our condition of life, of existence. There is no such beauty in simply Being Consciousness, which is this experience without cultivating, keeping, and registering these images. We do not use objective, clear thinking: recognizing a face, a behavior, and someone's name. It is a very simple record, but making an image about who the other is or represents… We do not know who the other is, but we have our beliefs about him. Our concepts and preconceptions about who he is. We like or dislike him or her.
What we do to others, we do to ourselves. We have this self-image, feel important and validated, and must be loved, accepted, and recognized. However, the other also carries an image of himself. Self-interested in himself, he has no interest in this “me,” this “I,” I believe to be. And when we meet each other, there is always this conflict. That is typical of the “I,” it is typical of the ego.
The question is: can we get rid of this for a life completely free of the “I,” of the ego and, therefore, a life without conflict, suffering, this contradiction, without this struggle in relationships? A life in Love, Peace, and Freedom requires being free from the “me,” the ego. It requires a life in that experiencing, without keeping those images, without cultivating that sense of an “I” that likes or does not like, that accepts or does not accept.
So, this is our job here with you. Here, in the video description, is our WhatsApp link to our weekend meetings, where we are investigating this with you, studying your questions, and working on that. In addition, we have face-to-face meetings and also retreats. If this is something that makes sense to you, so, please, leave your “like” there and write in the comment: “Yes, it makes sense!” Subscribe to the channel, and we'll see each other, okay? Thanks for the meeting, and see you next time.
