??"What do you have to tell us about Kundalini Yoga?" In fact, I receive several questions. Many questions are placed here on the channel and also in online meetings that we have on weekends. So, what is this so-called Kundalini? The word "Yoga" means union or a joining. The final purpose of Yoga is this encounter-it has the same purpose in the question "How to find God?" The purpose is to have union, an encounter.
However, we have to investigate this calmly. If the proposal is this union, this encounter-notice-the common idea is the idea of two things that unite in the joining or that have an encounter; it is the presence of two things meeting: you and God. The expression "Kundalini" means energy; it refers to the idea of an energy present in us that, upon Awakening, creates an internal change in this organism, in this mechanism, and thus places the brain in a condition or disposition for this encounter. But let us calmly look at all of this.
What is this encounter with God or with Truth? How is this process? Will there really be someone for this encounter? Or does the Reality of this encounter consist in the verification of Life without the "I," without the person, without the ego? Thus, the Reality of this Flowering, of this Awakening of Kundalini, is the awareness of Life revealing itself as this encounter. The investigation of the Nature of the "I," of this "who I am," will show you that there is no one present. There is no such someone; there is not this "I."
Learning about Self-Awareness is that which, in fact, shows you the truth about this. All this movement of practice, system, or technique with the purpose of having an encounter with God-whether through the practice of Yoga or through the practice of Meditation-has to be investigated, because here we are dealing with something that is here and now, and there is not this "I" for this practice; there is not this "someone" as an agent capable of acting in this direction-as if there were, in fact, a path.
The idea of an encounter between two points requires the presence of space and time. Divine Reality is not in time. You cannot have an encounter with God; the Reality of this Being, which is You, is this encounter. That which is present here is the Reality of this Being. There is no element that separates itself to be able to have an encounter in the future-going from point A to point B.
The mind in us is an element laden with illusions. This mechanism-the mind as an instrument-is present laden with concepts, with ideas, with disfigurements; this element present, which we call mind, is incapable of an encounter like this. We need to discover something beyond the mind, beyond the "I," beyond this idea of separation between "me and God," between "the one who will practice, the practice, and the purpose." It is all that we are here, in these meetings, investigating with you.
Therefore, what is this encounter? How to find God? Through practice? Through a technique? Through a system? Through some other means? Or is the Revelation of God That which reveals itself here in this instant when illusion is no longer present? It is in this that we are here investing our moment of research, of investigation, of study, of inquiry.
Learning about ourselves-learning how the mind, thought, feeling, emotion, sensation-how our actions process, our gestures also; becoming aware of how this moment reveals itself, without the need for an identity that separates itself, which is the "I," the ego-only the awareness of this reveals this Real Awakening.
The expression "Kundalini," or "Real Consciousness," or "Divine Truth," or "God"-these are only expressions. Here, what is important is the need for comprehension of the totality of Life, the vision of the Reality of the moment, without the mistake, without the error, without the deception of the egoic mind, of this mind that, as an instrument, is showing itself incapable of a contact with Reality, because this very instrument is unnecessary.
There is a Reality present here. The mind-as a mechanism or an instrument-may have some utility. Yes, it may have some utility. For practical and objective purposes in this so-called dream of human life, knowledge, experience, memory, remembrance, as well as feelings, emotions, sensations, perceptions, all of this is within the mind, of what we call consciousness. But this consciousness is limited; this mind is limited.
Thus, for purposes of a contact with life in this dream of existence-okay-thought is functional; emotion as well. But this does not encompass, it does not reach Reality. Truth, Reality, God is That which is present beyond the mind and, therefore, beyond our experiences. The experience that the person has in this model-which is the model of the "I"-is something circumscribed, confined, within this limitation of thought.
Therefore, why does the human being suffer? Because he lives in this model, in this personal consciousness; he lives within this mind, in this mechanism. Is there something beyond the mind? The awareness of God is the Truth of Being, and this is something beyond the mind. So, we have here the presence of a quality of Life outside this limitation, this egoic identity, this mind trapped in its concepts, evaluations, opinions, beliefs, conclusions.
Therefore, with the Awakening of this Natural State of Being, which some call "Kundalini," yes, we have the presence of this Divine Revelation. But it is not someone having this Revelation; it is Truth revealing itself, beyond the "I," beyond the ego, beyond the person. All this movement of seeking, all this involvement with technique or practice of some kind to obtain this, is an illusion. You cannot obtain this; you do not go to this Reality called God. It is That that comes; it is That that reveals itself when the mind undergoes a profound change, a radical transformation.
That which we call mind, which we know, recognize, you see, it is always from thought, and thought is within this limitation; it deals with that which it perceives, recognizes, and knows, and this is part of all the impressions of the known. Divine Reality is not within the known; it transcends the mind; it transcends thought.
Here, the good news is that You in your Natural State of Being... Look, in your Natural State of Being-not in this common state of being. The common state of being that we know is this idea of "I am, but I will be," "I still do not have, but I will have," 'I need to have an encounter with God," "I need to Awaken Kundalini"'-it is the idea of this 'I' in the "coming to be."
Therefore, there is a difference between this idea of being, in this being for "coming to be," to the Reality of Being. Divine Reality is the Reality of Being, and this is not in the coming to be; this is here when there is no longer the illusion of the "I," of the ego, of this person. The question is: How can we approach this? If it is not through a technique, if it is not through a practice, how can we have an approach to this? This requires the presence of this learning about ourselves, learning about Self-awareness.
This is not a technique; it is not a practice; it is not something that someone does. It is something that is present here in an Attention on our reactions; then this Divine Presence shows itself present. In this Attention, which does not require technique, which does not require practice, which does not require effort,it is an error to place this Full Attention, this Mindfulness, as a practice or technique. Here we are facing a simple and direct looking at this instant-in this profound interest of looking at these reactions that take place internally and externally.
The presence of a thought can be observed; of a feeling also; of a sensation, of a perception. This is something that escapes us constantly, because we are always placing an identity in this. An identity when a thought appears-which is the thinker; an identity when something is being seen, we place the observer; an identity when a feeling is present, we place someone in this feeling. This is the model of conditioning; it is the way this conditioned mind-which is this instrument in us-is functioning.
Is it possible a contact with the moment without the "I," without someone? Contact with thought, with a feeling, with sensation, with perception, without someone involved in this? Then, the real approach to this learning about Self-Awareness is this Attention that brings us closer to the art of Being Real Consciousness, Divine Consciousness, which is Meditation.
Therefore, what is Meditation? Once again, it is not a technique; it is not a practice; it is not an exercise; it is not someone using a system-like a mantra or a breathing technique. All of this is something that is learned. We learn a system, a technique, and we make use of this system and technique. The truth about Meditation is the absence of someone involved with this awareness of Revelation.
Meditation is the comprehension of the meditator; it is the comprehension of the thinker; it is the comprehension of the observer. Comprehension shows us that there is no such thing as this element to separate itself from the present moment. Therefore, there is no such thing as an observer and the thing observed, as a thinker having thoughts, as someone here present having feelings or emotions. Let us approach the truth about this.
Now, here, for example, in this instant, there is only the listening. But the illusion within you tells you that you are someone who is listening. In truth, there is no separation between this listening and you. But you say: "I am listening." This "I" that is listening is an idea; it is a belief.
What we have been doing all the time in life is sustaining this duality, this separation-placing ourselves always, constantly, as the experiencer of the experience. And thus, we do not enter into contact with the moment, into contact with life, into contact with the now, with the instant, because we place an identity to this instant, to this moment, to this contact. What we have present is Life, without the "I," without this someone.
So, what is this Real encounter with God? What is this true Kundalini Awakening? We have several videos here on the channel deepening this, what is this real encounter with God, what is this real encounter with Kundalini. The words "God," "Kundalini"-these are words. There is a Reality present revealing itself here and now-in this encounter-but it is not someone having this encounter; it is this encounter revealing itself here. It is not you who goes to God; it is not you who awakens Kundalini.
The Reality of this Being, the Reality of God, the Reality of Kundalini is something that is present when the awareness of Life, when the Awareness of Truth reveals itself. We have already spoken here, and we have several videos here on the channel placing this question of Kundalini Awakening, of this "how to find God." All these subjects that we address here we place in playlists; we have dozens, hundreds of videos deepening all these themes. Thus, the Truth of this Revelation is the awareness of Love, of Happiness, of Freedom, of Comprehension of God, of the Truth about this Being, of the Truth about this Divine Reality, which is the Truth about ourselves.
