The truth of death | How to deal with death? | Psychic suffering | Egoic mind and suffering

There is something very curious about all this behavior in us, in this contact with life as it happens. Among us, we find philosophers, psychologists, the so-called religious people, we find mystics. When you look at nature, you do not find philosophers, psychologists, or those who dedicate themselves to the study of theology among sparrows, rabbits, or monkeys. Notice how interesting all this behavior that is in us. We have issues that we do not find in any other environment, only in this environment, within this context of human history, of human beings.

So, we have an intellect that we are proud of. However, this intellect, in addition to solving problems - in this encounter with a scientifically,

technologically life condition, as in the case of medicine and in several other areas, we see problems solved, problems resolved, and we are in a better life condition within this context of human culture, history, civilization, in this context of humanity -, although this is present, we also come across unresolved issues, and we have the idea that they are not resolved yet and that they may be resolved in the future.

But note: these are entirely intellectual issues that involve this issue of feelings and emotions in human beings, which we do not really find in nature, in the animal kingdom. Issues like: "How to deal with death?" You cannot imagine a bird having an issue like this. If you have a pet in your house, you never imagine your cat having this problem. See, an issue is a problem. For sure, you've never imagined your kitten wondering when it would die or about the old issue about the truth of death: "What is death?"

So, these are issues that are present in human beings, because we are philosophical, we are theological, we live within psychological principles, we want reason, the why for things, especially if these things affect us internally, create some level of discomfort, disorder, conflict, contradiction, and suffering.

Why do we have a question like this: "How to deal with death?" It's quite simple: we are not dealing with life; your pet, your dog, your little fish in the aquarium, those little fish there are dealing with life, because they are dealing with what happens; They do not speculate about what will come, about what will happen, about the losses they will suffer, but we, as human beings, despite all this intellectual capacity to resolve issues that bring us today an improvement in life, a better, more comfortable quality of life, such as the extension of our days, due to all these technological, scientific and medical advances, despite this, we continue, psychologically, to have problems.

And why is this present in us? This is due to the presence of this sense of "I," this sense of ego, this sense of "me." It is because we have things that we can lose, or because we have things that we want to achieve and that we have not yet achieved. This ideal of possessing in the future, and of not getting rid of what you have, is an internal movement of thought, within you, that produces conflict, that produces suffering.

Here with you we are investigating this issue of the end of this illusion, which is the illusion of this psychological condition in which we find ourselves in this feeling-thought "I," having all these things, needing to resolve these issues. We need to discover life as it is, and we cannot be in touch with it as it is while we are weaving ideas, concepts and beliefs about it, about how it should be or could be to "me." This is where there is the presence of this separation between you and life, between you and what is.

When this is established, there is the presence of ideas, philosophical ideas, spiritual or spiritualist beliefs, psychological concepts. All of this involves the question of this model of thought that is present in each one of us. It is this model of thought, which is limited as it is, that finds itself wanting to resolve issues outside its scope, outside its competence.

We cannot resolve issues of a psychological nature, since these issues of a psychological nature are issues created by this psychological model that, by structure and nature, is confused, disoriented, creating imaginative questions, questions like: "How to overcome death?" Note, we do not know what life is and we already want to overcome death. We do not know what it is to live, but we want to resolve the question of what death is and how to overcome death.

Note that all the psychological problems that we have are established in questions that thought itself establishes in imagination, within its model of confusion, limitation, speculation. Thought within us is trying to find the answer to the imaginary questions that it has. Take a careful look at this here.

This question about what death is, is like the question about what life is. Life here is just life as it happens, to be lived as it happens. Any discussion about it, any debate about it, is a mere imaginary speculation of thought. Death is a word that we construct, through thought, to talk, for example, about the end of things. But let's take a closer look, for example, at this word, which is a construct of thought.

Life, here and now, everything in this instant is appearing and disappearing. There is no such thing as a fixed structure called life that happened at a certain moment and will end at a certain moment in the future. This moment is an idea, and this instant in the future is also an idea. At each moment, life expresses itself in constant change. Everything is new at every moment. So, at each moment, everything is born and everything dies. There is no separation, there is no line that separates appearance and disappearance.

Why do we have questions like this? We have questions like this because we are living on thought. Thought has given us the illusion of being someone present in life, who has things, who controls things, who possesses things, and who cannot lose them. Thought has created the illusion of an identity, which is the "I," this "person" that thought says is you, and you, in fact, in thought, as a "person," believe what thought says.

Thought, for example, says that you have a car, that you have a house, that you have a business, that you have a body, that you have a life. Note that all of these are constructs of thought, they are ideas in thought. These ideas in thought are creating problems. Once thought is there saying that you exist as someone separate from what you have, you are just an extension of that, and if that is taken away from you, a piece of you has been ripped away. So, all of this psychological suffering present in us is a construct of thought.

So, we are living psychologically on things, on objects, on people, on ideas, on beliefs: this is the life of the "I," it is the life of this "me;" It sees itself as an entity separate from life as it happens, from everything that is here appearing and disappearing, and it wants to control, and it wants to dominate, and it wants to possess, it wants to have it for itself, it wants it to be its. Notice, this is the condition, in the human being, in each one of us, that sustains this psychological condition of psychic suffering.

This is what we have called here the egoic mind. What you call "my consciousness" is nothing else: it is this movement of thought that is assuming the illusion of this sense of "I," of this "me," of this entity, as if it were real. So, you see yourself as someone who has things, who is living life - and, here, life is about possessing these things. So, we always live psychologically within this internal condition.

This is life in the egoic mind, this is the life of the "I," an artificial life. As we have said countless times here: there is life as it happens and there is this illusory life of this supposed entity present within this living, within this existence, within this happening. Breaking with this condition is assuming Reality, the Reality of your Being, which is the Reality of God; it is the awareness of Life as it happens, without this illusion of living life because you were born and of losing life if death happens.

There is Something present in this moment, and That which is present in this moment is beyond this illusory life of the "I," it is beyond this model of thought, which is always raising, from itself, questions, problems, which it does not resolve. What we have stated here for you in a very clear way is that anxiety, depression, anger, fear, these various conflicting and distressing states, such as worry, hatred, these various attachments that we all know, all of this is within this psychological disorder of this "I."

The truth of approaching life as it is, is possible when we approach ourselves and through Self-awareness there is this direct comprehension of the non-need for the continuation of this psychological movement, which is the movement of the egoic mind, which is this movement of thought seeking answers for this life that it has idealized, that it has constructed.

Real Life is present, and we do not need this model of thought to deal with what happens. If this is real, suffering ends, fear ends, confusion, conflicts, disorders and the various problems present in this psychological condition disappear, because at this moment what is present is Life as it is, and in It the Beauty of God is revealed, the Beauty of your Being, the Beauty of your True Nature, which is not the person, the "me," the "I," the ego.

This is what we are working on here with you. These meetings that we have here on the weekends, Saturday and Sunday: they are two days together where we are going deeper into this with you. In addition to these meetings, we have in-person meetings and we also have retreats. Here in the video description, you have our WhatsApp link to participate in these online meetings on the weekends and get to know about these in-person meetings and retreats.

So, here is an invitation. If this is something that really makes sense to you, leave your like, subscribe to the channel and say: "Yes, this makes sense." Ok? And we'll see you. Thanks for the meeting and see you soon.
