How to attain happiness? How to deal with judgments? How to attain Spiritual Enlightenment?

We have a mistaken notion of life, of how it works. When people want to discover the path to Happiness, Freedom, Peace, Love, they have this notion of the path as a journey. The idea in us is always of a walk, and that's why we need a road, a journey.

The idea for us always consists of this notion of direction, of reaching out. So, we go from one point to another. All our life experience, over all these years of life, has shown us that everything we accomplish, we need time for it to come true.

Everything in life, for example, we learn. We are constantly learning; we learn about everything and, despite this, we still know nothing , we are always learning. So, we reserve within ourselves a clear notion of the need to learn, and that requires time. Then, we need time to learn and time to realize.

Here I want to investigate with you this issue of Spiritual Awakening, of Spiritual Enlightenment, and see if it's the same here, if it's true that we need time. Note, we do need the art of learning, but not learning as we know it. For us, learning is something that happens, that occurs, that happens when we go through experiences and store them away, record them. Thus, there is an accumulation of knowledge and experience. This is how we generally deal with "learning" something.

We've been talking to you here on this channel about the value of learning. Yes, we need this art of learning for the Awakening of Consciousness, for Spiritual Enlightenment, but we have to take a new approach to this here, as we have always said. It's not about the question of how to attain Spiritual Enlightenment, as people generally treat this issue. Notice that they put forward the notion of time and this journey, this walk towards this purpose, towards this goal.

So, the notion is exactly that, that we need time to achieve something, so we need time to attain Spiritual Enlightenment too. Here we are talking to you about this Awakening, yes, this Spiritual Enlightenment and this learning, but a new learning.

Here, this learning consists, at that moment, of directly seeing that given thing, and within that very vision, in that "seeing," an action takes place, an action is processed.

So, the truth of this learning here consists in our being aware, moment by moment, of what is happening in this instant, here and now, in this moment. So notice, in this way, we eliminate this notion of time to achieve and of this learning by accumulating information, knowledge and experience.

So, there's a new way of learning, and that's what we're dealing with here. Only in this learning does Spiritual Awakening take place, and it doesn't take place over time, it takes place at this moment. It's not about an experience to be had or knowledge to be acquired, it's about discovering, at that instant, the end to this psychological condition of being an experiencer, of being a thinker, of being an observer, of being someone moving through time.

Notice that the notion of being someone that you have - as has already been said - is the notion of being someone on a journey, on a walk. "How to attain happiness?" Questions that always involve the expression 'how' are very common, because we are conditioned to believe that we need time, that we need the walk, that we need the journey, that we need to learn by accumulating, that we need to have experiences and grow and evolve with them.

We need to review this, take a closer look and perceive the illusion of this conditioning we have received. We don't need time. In fact, what we call time is just a creation of thought. It is thought that has constructed this notion of time for each of us.

All the problems we have are problems of disorder, which exist precisely because of the presence of time. We want to resolve the issues we have; they are issues that we have created on the basis of thought. These issues are problems. Thought has built up these problems, created these issues, and we want to resolve them on the basis of time. But thought is time.

We have emphasized this and we have to see it, look at it, listen to it, become aware of it in a very direct way in order to have a true approach to what we are putting here for you. The thought in us tells us about the past, it tells us about the future, it tells us that we haven't achieved what we wanted to, what we tried to achieve and haven't succeeded.

The thought generates in us, and that thought is the memory reserved, kept in the brain, inside each one of us... That memory, that remembrance, that thought is the element that sustains time by telling us about the past, about what we didn't achieve yesterday. This element is the thought telling us what we need to achieve tomorrow, and that generates a feeling of guilt and also worry. This guilt and worry is the presence of fear and anxiety.

Therefore, the various internal states of psychological suffering that we know are present because of the presence of thought, and this thought is linked to this time. Observe it: without this thought, there is no time. Without thought, there is no time, and without time, there is no such issue, no such problem.

A life free, psychologically, from time, is the Real Life here, at this instant, of your Being. It's because we're living in this psychological life of the "I," which is life in thought, which is life in time, that we're having issues, that we're having problems, that we're seeing a journey, a path, something to get in the future, also something to get rid of, that we carry from the past.

We need to investigate this issue of thought, of how it is processed within each of us, and we will soon realize that it is processed on the basis of memory; a memory that we don't know how to deal with right now, and therefore it is sustained in this format of the "I," of "me" of the thinker. The person, you see yourself as, is nothing other than a set of remembrances, memories, recollections, thoughts that don't end, don't come to an end.

When you look at yourself, you see inside your head all the restlessness, all the restless, chatty, repetitive, uncontrolled thought patterns, the famous intrusive thinking, the forms of anxiety present because of the thought patterns, the anguish, the depression. When we look inside, we perceive that we are confused human beings, in psychological disorder, there is no serenity, no stillness, no silence. The brain is always in this accelerated movement.

The psychological condition of the existence of the "I," this "me," this "person," is one of anxiety and worry. The various problems we have are present in this model of unfinished, not finished thought, in this memory format. Thought is always projecting the future. So there's fear, because there's this future that thought is projecting, based on the past, on memory, on projecting; it doesn't want this or that which it remembers.

You see, the thought has the memory, the recollection; that memory, that recollection is something that happens in the brain. Thought projects itself into the future, based on this memory, and there is fear. So, based on the past, we have fear of the future. Then, our psychological condition of being someone, in this model of unfinished thought, is one of suffering.

We are studying this here, investigating the nature of the "I," of this "me." We have put here for you the value of this approach, of this direct look at this model of thought, which is the model of conditioning, as our brain is functioning, as our intellect is stuck to it within this conditioning.

Can we free the brain from this condition, the intellect from this prison of memory? To become aware of the movement of the "I" is to go beyond this "I," this ego. The various problems we have are present because of this notion of time that thought within us represents.

Here we are telling you that it is possible to put an end to this model of thought, that is, this psychological death of this sense of "I," of the ego. If this sense of "I," which is this "me," which lives within this psychological model of unfinished memory, continuing this notion of psychological time, if it ends, we have this psychological death, the end to this psychological condition of being someone, to the Reality of your Being, to the Truth of That which is beyond this sense of person, of ego-identity. So here, yes, is the answer to Happiness.

It's not about, in the future, as an answer to the question "how to attain happiness." It's not about happiness in the future, but the awareness of the Reality of this instant, of what is present here when this "ego," this psychological "I," has disappeared. When this pattern of behavior, of thinking in which the brain is conditioned to live, and this intellect stuck to sustain, to hold on, if there is an end to this condition, we have a new brain, a quiet mind, a silent brain, the presence of this awareness of this instant, the Reality that is here and now.

This is the Truth of your Being, the Truth of non-duality, of non-separation, where the Presence of Divine Reality, which is You in your Being, is free from this sense of the "I," of the ego, and therefore free from this psychological time, this psychological thinking, this egocentric, personal behavior pattern.

There's another question - look, all these questions based on this "how," which are sustained over time, resolve themselves - "How to deal with the judgment from others? How to deal with judgments?" The end of the illusion of the "I" is the end of this self-image, this image that carries the fear of rejection, of comparison, of non-acceptance, of judgment from others.

Here we are working with you towards the end of psychic suffering, the end of this emotional disorder, the end of this illusion of someone who sustains themselves in this illusory life, always looking for something in a future that thought idealizes. Divine Reality is the Reality of God, and that is Love, Peace, Freedom, and Happiness. That is the Nature of God, that is the Nature of your Being.

This is what we talk about with you here on the channel and also on our other channel, called "Marcos Gualberto" - take a look at it later, here in the video description you'll find the link to our other channel.
