I would like to talk to you a little bit about the importance of action. I refer to a quality of action that we are unaware of. Our actions are actions that are born, come from the movement of will, the movement of wanting, the movement of desire, even from the impulse that is born from fear. All of this generates some level of present action.
I would like to discuss with you the Truth of action, when we have present in it the presence of true Intelligence. A very curious thing about this, for example, is what people are saying a lot about artificial intelligence. People are delighted with it. However, some are scared by this too. See how we work as human beings.
So, we have the issue of the so-called “artificial intelligence” and fear, because some people don't know what could happen due to the presence of this so-called “artificial intelligence.” It's quite curious because we are very confident and quite comfortable in this so-called “human intelligence.” To us, this human intelligence is harmless. Now, look closely at this and see if it is in fact so.
What is the reason for fear? What is fear? What is the truth of intelligence? What is the truth about intelligence? What is the truth about fear? What is this thing we call artificial intelligence? Note that we consider intelligence present when we see ability, capability and knowledge present, expressing themselves in someone. So, we say, “Look how smart this person is.”
Some have a talent for music, others for mathematics, others for that notion of space. So, we have the so-called “mathematical intelligence,” “musical intelligence,” “spatial awareness.” We see this expression of knowledge, skill and experience of someone in a certain area as the truth of intelligence. And now we have just this so-called “artificial intelligence” appearing. So, there is already a dispute between this known intelligence, this already-known human intelligence, versus this new intelligence, which is artificial intelligence.
So, artificial intelligence versus this human intelligence. And we are already afraid of the so-called “artificial intelligence.” The truth is: what is the reality about this, the reality of intelligence? Is it, in fact, this? Is intelligence ability? Is it knowledge? Is it capability? Is the truth of intelligence the speed, the mastery, the precision of how the electronic brain works, as in the case of artificial intelligence?
Here we are dealing with you with the end to the illusion of human suffering, the end to the illusion of fear, the end to the illusion of conflict, of contradiction, the end to the illusion of that present identity which is the “I,” the ego. The end to this represents a new way of acting in life. That's why I want to discuss with you this Truth of action, the action free of this well-known human intelligence.
We are talking to you here about the Beauty of Real Intelligence, true Intelligence. The only Intelligence that is, in fact, necessary in our lives is the one that can put an end to all human problems. Is artificial intelligence the end to human problems, since with our human intelligence we cannot put an end to human problems?
The world is living in a condition that, we know, there is violence, there is fear, there is suffering, there is ambition; envy is something present, attachment, contradictions linked to this sense of desire in us. So, the entire condition of the human being in this so-called “human consciousness,” in this human intelligence has been one of problems. Our action is a classic reflection of this. We don't know what free action is. Let's explore this a little bit here and ask ourselves this: has human intelligence put an end to problems? Is there truly intelligence in our actions just because, technically, we know some things, have some level of knowledge, have some level of experience and ability to deal with some issues?
Technology has advanced, medicine has advanced, science has advanced, but from a psychological point of view, we continue as human beings in the same old condition that we have just reported to you. We don't know how to live in a relationship with others, with ourselves, with life in harmony, with joy, with peace, and happiness. This is what is needed in our lives. Human intelligence did not give us this. Will artificial intelligence give us this? Absolutely! There’s something artificial intelligence can’t solve…
It can solve technical matters in a much more skillful way than this so-called human intelligence in us, because if we have a computer brain, with a much faster speed of operation, technical problems can be solved in a much more efficient way. But these technical problems are just functional problems in a technological, scientific, mathematical aspect and so on. Here I refer to these human problems in us. Envy, for example, the pain it represents, the pain of attachment, the suffering it causes when, for example, we lose a loved one, someone we love or say we love. We say we love; we believe we love; we never really investigate our relationship with the other, what this other represents for this “I.” We never investigate the nature of this “I.” Our so-called “human intelligence” did not enable us to do this. We do not have an approach to this mind, as we know it, for an investigation of what happens inside it.
So, all this so-called “intelligence” in us is to investigate the external world, is to research the external world, is to explore the external affairs of life, of human existence, in the field of science, art, music, mechanics, physics, and chemistry. So, we are, when it comes to the truth about who we are, without that Truth, without understanding ourselves. So, it doesn't matter if what is present we call intelligence. I want to repeat this here: what we have called intelligence is just accumulated knowledge, acquired experience. Over these millennia, we have acquired a lot of experience, a lot of accumulated knowledge, we put this into a machine and call it intelligence. We accumulate information from books, lectures and experiences, and we call this intelligence. We are here signaling to you Something beyond this so-called “artificial intelligence,” beyond human intelligence, the awareness of an action here and now, free from knowledge and, therefore, free from reaction.
When we look at a starry sky at night and there is just looking without someone, notice that, at that moment, the sense of an “I” is not with its ideas, its concepts, its opinions, its judgments, its fears, and its desires. A starry sky has nothing to offer to the ego, to this sense of a present “I.” Notice that, at that moment, when looking at a starry sky, all that remains is the gaze. There is an impact of silence, of stillness, of serenity, where the brain calms down, the entire movement of thought, which is the movement of the known, of memory, of remembrance, of the past, of recollection, of ambition, of desire, and of fear is not present. So, there is just the look at this starry night. At that moment, the brain quiets down. That’s when we are faced with an action free of this “I,” this ego. No so-called “intelligence” is necessary, no spatial awareness, no musical intelligence, no technical intelligence, no artificial intelligence, nor human intelligence. At this point, no quality of intelligence is necessary.
So, this division of intelligence into spatial, mechanical, musical intelligence, emotional intelligence, artificial intelligence, human intelligence, all of this disappears at that moment, there is appreciation of Pure Appreciation, there is a way of looking without the sense of an “I” present. In that instant, there is a moment of profound Stillness, of profound Silence, there is Something that in that instant reveals itself outside the notion of separation, this notion of “I and the other thing,” “I and the stars,” “I and this immensity,” “I and this extraordinary sky with these stars, with all this apparition.” In that moment, there is this Presence of something that is outside the known. We also have this on a beach or by a lake. The mind is completely swept away, in these moments, from all the occupation with the office, with business, with family problems, with health problems, of all kinds. All of this disappears in this Silence, in this Stillness, this is the encounter with Real Intelligence. Note: this is the encounter with Life at this moment.
I want to ask you a question: is it possible for us to deal with the husband, the wife, the boss, the company employees, the co-workers, is it possible to deal with the present moment, taking the child to school, bringing from school, is it possible to deal with life, with daily activities, with professional activities, at work, without the sense of an “I” present? Allowing yourself to have a brain in that stillness, in that absence of the sense of an “I,” that separates itself from the present moment, that separates itself from the present experience, that does not place the experiencer within the experience to judge, compare, accept, reject, or make anything with that?
Is it possible to live a life free from this sense of an “I” present in living? A free brain, a mind at stillness is this Flourishing, the Flourishing of That which I have called Real Intelligence. This true Intelligence is present when the sense of ego, of “I,” when this illusion of an identity present in the moment, here and now, is not. Try this, try just looking without “someone” looking. Try this!
Try looking without “someone.” Just as you can hear a bird singing and you don't judge, you don't compare, you don't reject, you also don't get caught up in the song, but just listen, also discover how to listen, hear someone talking to you, just listen, without judging, without evaluating, without comparing, without agreeing or disagreeing with what you hear. Exactly like you do when you listen to a bird, when you look at a forest, at a tree, when you look at the sea, when you look at the sky, it's just the look. Discover this, try looking at this instant without this background, without this I. When it appears, it appears separating itself to like, dislike, agree, disagree, to say yes, say no, to desire what it sees, to reject what it sees, to agree with what it hears, to disagree with what it hears.
When we do this, we are just in this old, old movement of this so-called “I-intelligence,” this so-called “human intelligence,” which is basically knowledge, memory, remembrance, and recognition. This is the movement of the ego present. This is the absence of true Intelligence. We are inviting you here to the Awakening of Real Intelligence. This Real Intelligence is this action. Note that this action is the action without “someone” in action. The action of looking, the action of listening, the action of living life without this center, without this “I.” Some call this the Awakening of Consciousness. It is the Awakening of Real Intelligence, of the Truth of your Being. Others call it Spiritual Awakening. So, here we are working with you on this Truth, the Truth of the Revelation of That which is You when the illusion of that “me,” that “I,” that “you” that you believe yourself to be is no longer present.
So, we have online meetings on the weekends where we are working on this with you. If this makes sense to you, we have our WhatsApp link for these weekend meetings in the video description. In addition, we have face-to-face meetings and also retreats. If this really makes sense to you, please leave your “like” and subscribe to the channel, ok? And we'll see each other. Thanks for joining and see you soon!
