Joel Goldsmith. Invisible Supply. To know God is to be God. Ramana Maharshi. Master Gualberto.

Hello everyone! We are here for another videocast. Once again, Master Gualberto is here with us. Thank you, Master, for being here.

Master, today I am going to read an excerpt from Joel Goldsmith’s book called “Invisible Supply.” In an excerpt from this book, Joel Goldsmith says the following: “Knowing true statements about God and knowing God Himself are very different things.” Master, how can we know God?

MG: Gilson, that is a question… look at your question, it is a wonderful question! Now, are we ready for a direct, very clear, real answer to this question? Here, you have a photo of Ramana Maharshi. In this closeness with my Master, my teacher, this Revelation occurred.

One day someone asked him: “Master, how can I know God?” The answer was very direct. Ramana Maharshi’s answer was: “To know God is to be God.” So, see Gilson, that is the answer. You cannot know God, there is no way for you to get close to God, because there is no such thing as “you and Him.” The Reality of Life is Life, which is God! There is only God: that is Reality! This “you,” this sense of being someone, in order to know something, is an illusion.

Gilson, we lack the awareness of the Truth that there is only God, because there is psychological confusion, there is an internal disorder of thought movement within each one of us, creating this illusory sensation, sustaining this illusory sensation of a present identity, separate and apart from God, and asking questions about how to reach the Truth, how to reach Freedom, how to reach Happiness, how to find God, how to know God. This sense of identity present in us is a sense present due to thought, feeling, sensation and perception of the background of psychological conditioning. This is something present due to a model, a model of being, something created and sustained by this thinking, feeling and perceiving. This is something that is present, Gilson, because we lack the Vision of the Reality of That which we truly are.

This is something possible in this life. See, what we call “life,” what I just put here as “this life,” is something that consists of a dream, a dream happening for this sense of this illusory “I,” which sees itself separated from Real Life, which is God. The end of this particular life, which is the life of the “I,” is the end of this dream. Here, in this life, or in this existence, becoming aware of Real Life and putting an end to this “particular life” is the only thing that matters. It is only in this sense that we use the expression “Enlightenment” or “Awakening” here – Awakening of Consciousness or Spiritual Enlightenment – it is in the sense of this Truth revealing itself, this Truth of your Being. So, the question “how to know God?” requires the Revelation of God. It is God revealing Himself in Him, through Him and for Him, here and now.

Perhaps you ask: “So, what can we do in this direction?” We need to work. Something, in fact, is necessary. See, work will not be the determining factor, but this work is part of the movement of this Divine Grace itself, so that this body and mind can undergo a transformation. See, Gilson, we need a change in this body and mind, we have also talked a lot about this on the channel. This change is the Flourishing of this Divine Presence, something that is present in each one of us, but that has not yet flourished, because the psychological condition in which we find ourselves is one of complete ignorance concerning the movement of this egoic consciousness, of this consciousness of the “I.”

The flourishing of this Natural Divine State... There are many names for this Flourishing: it is Spiritual Awakening, it is Spiritual Enlightenment, it is Kundalini Awakening ... And, here, the expression “Kundalini” ... It is important to say this here too: there is a huge fantasy about and around this expression “Kundalini.” It is not in the sense that most people use this expression out there that we use this expression here. According to Ramana Maharshi himself, the word “Kundalini” is another word for “God.” He said: “Being, Consciousness” – and, here, He refers to this Real Consciousness, as we have spoken a lot about here on the channel: Being, Consciousness, God and Kundalini –, He said, “these are different words pointing to the same Reality.” So, this Flourishing of your Natural State requires a change in this body and in this mind, it is when this Flourishing happens that this Revelation of God reveals itself.

Therefore, Gilson, knowing God is the Reality of God in expression, when there is a complete emptying of all this content, which is the illusory content; when there is a complete emptying of all this content, which is the content that gives rise to this ego-identity, the continuity of an entity present in this illusion of time, in this psychological notion of movement in space. Notice what an interesting thing here! There is chronological time, which is the time that we see determining the days, the months, the years – it is the time that we follow on the clock, this is chronological time –, and there is space; between one object and another, there is a space. So, in this dream of the world, of life, where this Divine Life is, there is the presence of this chronological time and this physical space, where this entire phenomenon of dream, of the divine world, happens. But, apart from this psychological time and this physical space, we have a space created by the sense of the ego and we have a time created by the sense of the ego.

See how we have to study this, understand this within ourselves, in order to have this Awareness of God's Revelation. This psychological time is a time that thought has been constructed. The notion that you are someone who came from the past, is living this moment and moving towards the future, notice, this is an example of a time that is constructed by thought, because there is no such thing as the past, from a psychological point of view, nor the present, nor the future. Past, present and future, for this “me,” for this “I,” for this person, is an illusion, because this person, this “I,” this “me,” is just a set of thoughts. So, it is thought that creates the illusion of a present identity, which is the “I,” and this notion of a time where this “I” is living.

When you use the expressions “I was,” “I am” and “I will be,” you are dealing with this psychological time. The notion of having existed, of existing and of will exist as “someone” is an illusion created by this psychological time, and this psychological time is a foundation for the model of thought. Thus, thought creates psychological time. It is time that tells us about the past, it is time that tells us about the present and it is time that tells us about the future. It imagines the future; it also brings the past to this moment based on an affirmation of memory, which here and now, at this moment, is also just a belief, an imagination. There is no truth here, at this moment, for the past, except for imagination, just as there is no truth here and now for the future, except for imagination.

All of this is a construct, Gilson, of thought in this psychological time, which needs to disappear so that Life can reveal itself here and now, without this illusion of the “I,” which needs this time to stay alive. This “I” is the ego and it creates a space, an illusory space, between the one who observes and that which is being observed, between the one who feels something and that which is being felt, between the one who thinks and thought. There is an interval, there is a space, also created by thought and, therefore, created by this ego-identity. Here, we are working with you on the end of this illusion, this notion of time and space established by this ego-identity. This issue of space is something interesting. We cannot go into it deeper here, but space is this interval between the center and the periphery, between the observer and that which is observed. It creates a space that does not exist, because this center is this periphery, this observer is the thing observed itself. Space is an illusion! The thinker is thought, so there is no such thing as this space.

We have been working on this on the channel. We have several videos delving into this issue of the illusion of this psychological time, where this illusory identity is established, and presenting to you the illusion of this time where the ego moves. The very movement of the ego, in this time – past, present and future – requires the space it forms, requires the time it creates. So, how can we know God? Going beyond this illusion of this sense of a present “I”, which sees itself apart and separate from life, sees itself as someone in the experience of living.

Gilson, work is necessary in this life for this Realization. So, the work happens and, due to this mysterious Divine Presence, which is Grace, something is revealed. It is by Divine Grace that we are sharing this Reality of God with you today. See, it is God who reveals himself, it is God who shows himself, it is God who presents himself!

An invitation from Grace to this work is Grace itself working with you for this Realization. It is not your work that accomplishes this, it is the work of Grace itself, happening in you, that makes this possible: God revealing himself, ending this illusion of this psychological time, where there is the illusory idea of reaching God, of coming to God, of realizing God in the future. There is no future, just as there is no past. Reality is here now, and the work is happening right now, for this Revelation, at this moment, of That which is outside of time, outside of this time in this dream of material existence – where we have this physical space and this chronological time –, and outside of this psychological time and this space also created by thought to maintain its continuity. So, when this ends, the Reality of God is present. The detail is that this work is now, and the end of all this is also now! Here, we are proposing to you a new approach regarding all this. We need to discard everything that we have received as formation of beliefs, concepts, ideas regarding the Divine Truth, because it is not through theoretical, conceptual or bookish knowledge that this occurs, that this happens.

GC: Master, we have a question from a subscriber here on the channel. He makes the following comment and asks: “I have a question about the phrase ‘I and the Father are one’. Who is this ‘I’? Thank you very much.”

MG: So, notice, Gilson, the expression “I and the Father are one” ... Who is this “I”? Notice, once again, here we are faced with words. This is where we have to take very slow and cautious steps, because we are treading on dangerous ground. See, that's right, the ground of ideas, the ground of words, theories, beliefs, is dangerous ground. It's like stepping on quicksand: if you step on quicksand, you can sink and even lose your life there, because it is dangerous ground. Here, ideas, concepts, beliefs, words mean nothing. We can get stuck in these words, stuck in this sand, and we can be suffocated by these words. We need to discover, Gilson, the Truth of That which we are, and that is not within words. We need direct contact with the Reality of That which we are, or intellectually we will end up theorizing about this subject.

When you ask “what is this ‘I’?” or “what did Jesus mean by that expression?” ... Here, we need to become aware of Reality in a direct way. It is not about making interpretations or maintaining verbal explanations or words to explain other words. I see people, Gilson, stuck, literally stuck, to words, concepts, ideas, beliefs. We need to go beyond the mind, therefore, beyond thoughts, beyond words; it is only when, directly, the Awareness of Revelation is present. So, a theoretical, verbal, conceptual explanation... In general, most people are content with that, until a moment comes when they realize that there is no point in living by concepts, theories, ideas, beliefs.

Our urgent need is to become aware of Reality directly, something that becomes possible when you discover how to approach this “learning” about yourself, which is to look at this movement of the “I” itself and go beyond it. There are no words, concepts or theories that can help us with that. What we need to do is discover directly what it means to learn to become aware of these reactions, abandoning the illusion of separation between this “I” and the “non-I,” between this observer and that which one observes, between this thought that arises and this thinker that appears, between this feeling and this “me,” this “I,” this one involved in the feeling. Thus, becoming aware of oneself is studying oneself. Then, yes, we can be a direct response to the Reality of That which is outside the very expression or word “I.” There is something, yes, beyond all of this, but it is indescribable, it is beyond words, it is beyond thoughts.

GC: Master, we have another question here, from a subscriber on the channel. The question is the following: “Master, I have always studied the scriptures to get closer to God, but now I am in doubt. Should I study or not?”

MG: So, Gilson, here we have another question, but notice how it is connected to the first one. What we need, Gilson, is to become aware of That which we are, to understand ourselves. We can, intellectually, verbally, through studies, we can acquire a great ability to explain the scriptures, to understand the words there, to teach others, to have a great theoretical understanding of this, and, however, this will not change absolutely anything regarding a direct contact with this Reality, because the intellect, no matter how well refined or capable it is, no matter how great its ability, is something under a limitation.

The Truth, Gilson, is not revealed at the intellectual level; It is something experiential! At the intellectual level, Gilson, we can have a great understanding of things, but this understanding at the intellectual level is not Real Comprehension. The Truth of Comprehension is experiential, direct, only then is That Real. So, we need to study, yes; not books, but studying ourselves, becoming aware of envy here, of fear here, of the conflict that desires cause here, of ambition, jealousy, anger, of how the movement of thought works here, producing these and many other internal states of suffering, contradiction, conflict, and various problems; becoming aware of our reactions, going beyond this sense of “I,” of the ego, in this moment, here. This requires this “studying” of ourselves, becoming aware of how we function.

Divine Truth is the Reality of our Being. The intellect cannot reach That. In this awareness of the very movement of the “I,” of the ego, of this illusory identity, through Self-awareness, we have a clear vision, and through the awareness of the revelation of Meditation, this Reality of our Being reveals itself, and this sense of ego-identity is undone. But I want to put this here again for you: we can read a lot, and for a long time, and intellectually know all of this, even to the point of teaching others the theory, the concept, the words, but this will not change anything at all, because this remains at the intellectual level. We need to become aware of Reality. The Awareness of Reality is Comprehension.

I have always illustrated it like this: it is like having the recipe for the cake and knowing everything we need to make that cake, because everything is already here in the recipe, step by step. While you have the recipe, there is someone eating the cake. So, either you get involved with the recipe, or you eat the cake. The Reality of your Being is to eat the cake. Intellectually, at most, all you can do is read recipes and intellectually try, through the words, to understand how to make the cake. There is a way for us to have direct access to this cake. The thing is that this cake is not made by someone else, it is already ready, and no recipe can truly give you the step-by-step instructions for this type of cake we are talking about, which is the Reality of your Being, which is here and now, ready.

GC: Master, thank you! Our time is now over. Thank you for this videocast.

And for you who are watching the video until the end, if you have a real, sincere yearning to get closer to God, to know God, to understand what is beyond words, beyond thoughts, we invite you to participate in the meetings that Master Gualberto provides. The Master, by the Grace of his Master, has already attained this so-called “Spiritual Awakening” or “Spiritual Enlightenment” and, in these Satsang encounters – which is the name of the encounters, which are online meetings, there are also in-person meetings and even retreats) – in these meetings, the Master, in addition to answering our questions, shares this Presence, this Awakened State of Consciousness, and, in this sharing of Presence, we end up being able to take a ride on this Silence of the Master, this Grace of the Master. And this helps us a lot in this understanding of ourselves, in this experience of what is beyond words. So, here is the invitation. In the first comment, pinned, there is the WhatsApp link to be able to participate in these meetings.

Also, please give a “like” in the video. If you are not yet subscribed to the channel, subscribe now, and we will see each other in the next videocast.

What is Self-awareness | Awakening of Consciousness | Psychological Time | What thought is

When you ask me what thought is, notice, you are asking the most important question to be investigated at this moment, concerning this issue of the Revelation of That which we are. This is because, basically, the model of being someone, this model that we have of a person, how we are functioning, is a model that is based on thought. Therefore, the lack of understanding of what thought is, of how it is processed in us, is what has placed us in this psychological condition, this sense of “I,” this approach to life from this center, which is an illusory center.

Note, let’s calmly explain this to you. First, notice one thing: our reactions at this moment, you see, are responses that arise due to a background of experience, knowledge and experience, something that arises here, at this moment, due to the past. And the greatest representation of this reaction, which comes from the past, with this background, is from reactions of thought. Thus, we are nothing else here, at this moment, within this model of reaction, of action, which comes from the past, other than a sample or presentation of the model of thought.

Everything in our life at this moment is happening due to thoughts. When you speak to someone, you speak from memory, which is a reaction that comes from the past, based on experiencing, knowledge and experience with words, or familiarity with words, and this gives you the ability to speak. And this speech is basically thought.

When you gesture, you gesture from memory. So, we have a motor memory in this body, and this memory responds through gestures. These gestures are something that comes from the past. Walking is something that requires motor memory in this body. The ability to speak, the words that are used, the thoughts that arise, and they are expressed. But thoughts guide absolutely everything in our life, at this moment. Engaging in professional work requires knowledge, experience, familiarity with that, memory: this is thought.

So, the lack of understanding what thought really is, of what this model of thinking, feeling and acting in life is – and this is how we are living –, without this understanding, our life is confusing, disoriented, troubled, conflicted, problematic, because we are living within a pattern of ignorance; ignorance about how we function, how we respond to this moment.

Here on this channel, we are studying it with you. See, we are not studying words; it is not the search for the meaning of these words, the mere verbal understanding of words being placed here. Here we are not studying theories. See, words and their verbal or intellectual meaning, you have it in the dictionary. You have words in books, words in speeches, in sermons, in lectures. They are words. There are words inside you as a memory, a remembrance, of all the knowledge you have already acquired.

Here we need a different approach to study. Here we are emphasizing the value of studying ourselves, but of studying exactly these reactions, this model of thinking, feeling, acting, behaving in this context of life, in this moment. What are our reactions? How does all this process within each one of us?

So, here we are not studying the theory about what thought is, or seeking scientific knowledge about what thought is, but we are studying our reactions. See, we are faced with something very direct, very objective and practical. As we don’t understand everything that is happening inside each one of us, there we are in a psychological state of disorder, confusion and suffering.

Human beings suffer, they live in suffering, in conflicts, in problems. And these problems are in his or her life, in all of us as human beings, due to ignorance. We do not know the Truth about who we are. We are only reacting based on this knowledge, experience, memory, life experience, something from the past. Responding to this moment, based on this, we are producing conflict, disorder and confusion in our lives, because our life in this format is a self-centered life, centered on this illusory center, which is the “me.”

We have an illusory sensation of existing in life, it is the sensation of being someone present within the experience of life. This feeling, thought, sensation of “I,” “me,” this is something within a reaction model that comes from the past. It is not real here; it shows itself here as a reactive model of memory from the past. Note this statement that we have just presented here for you. We are saying and we will put it very clearly: you are not real as the thought inside your head says you are.

There is life happening and there is also this reaction that comes from the past happening, in this body, in this mind, in this biological mechanism, using a pronoun, which is “I,” having a proper name, a story, but all of this is just memory acting, reactively interacting with the present moment. Notice, we are touching on something fascinating here to be discovered.

There is a Reality, yes, present, but it is not this person as you see yourself, as the thought, notice, makes you believe you are. There is a Reality present, and our entire purpose within these meetings here on this channel, in all of these videos, is to deal only with this with you, the importance of Self-awareness, of understanding the Truth about yourself. And this understanding of the Truth about yourself reveals to you that this “me,” this “I,” this “person” is an illusion, and that the Truth about yourself is beyond this “you” as thought says, tells and seems to demonstrate all the time.

So, our purpose here together is to become aware of our Divine Nature, the Truth about who we are. So, when someone asks: “What is the Awakening of Consciousness?” It is the emergence, in this present moment, of That which is outside of what thought knows. It is in this sense that we use the expression “the Awakening of Consciousness”; we are talking about something that is Real Consciousness, not this consciousness, see, this pattern of behavior, action, thought and model of existence of this “me,” this “I,” this person, which is the pattern of this consciousness of the “I,” this egoic consciousness.

Here I refer to the Truth of Real Consciousness, to the Flowering of True Consciousness. So, it is in this sense that we use the expressions “Spiritual Awakening” or “Awakening of Consciousness” here. And then, you ask: “But what about this way of being that we present ourselves to be, that we demonstrate ourselves to be, that we are always in this contact with family, with business, with social life, professional life, in this contact with ourselves? You have just told us that our model of action is reactive and it comes from the past. So, what is this? Why does it happen this way?” See, it happens this way because we are, in life, guided by the model of thought.

That's why there is a fundamental question here within the channel: What is thought? We need to understand what thought is, because, notice, everything in your life is happening due to this sample of thought. All this experience, knowledge and life experience in you has its greatest representation in thought.

Everything you see around you, notice, is something that thought designed and built one day. Notice how important it is for us to have an understanding of what thought is, because it is thought that drives you to say, to do, to not do, to act, to stop acting. It is thought that positions your “particular life” within this pattern or this condition in which you find yourself today, at this moment.

We are driven by thought, our actions happen based on thought. Everything else is structured by thought around us. Choices, decisions, deeds, achievements, all of this was born from thought. We have the illusion of being in control of all of this. In fact, the element in control of all of this is thought. Thought has given us an illusion, the illusion of a thinker behind it. See, it is thought that tells us of someone who “I am,” thinking, producing thoughts, performing actions, having control over them, making choices, and so on.

So, we need to discover what thought is. See, thought is a reaction that comes from the past and it is creating the illusion of a present identity here. If we do not understand what thought is and how to get rid of this model of thought that sustains this “I,” this “me,” this feeling, sensation, perception, of present identity, we will remain within this old condition.

Here we are proposing to you the end of the illusion about who you are. Once the truth of this “I” is understood, once the truth of this model of being someone is understood, it ends. When it ends, we have the end of this psychological time. Here on the channel, we have several videos talking about this issue of psychological time. See, it is in this psychological time that the continuity of this illusion is based, this illusion that you have about who you are.

Once you believe that you are someone real in the experience of this moment, someone who came from the past, is going through this moment and moving towards the future. This notion of past, present and future is something that thought creates and places a present identity that is this image, this self-image of someone within life, in experience, with this feeling and thought: “I.”

Here in this work, we are together approaching the end of this psychological condition where this psychological time and the illusion of this identity, which is the “I,” the “me,” the ego, are present. Then, Something new emerges, and this new Something is unknown, it is the Presence of the Truth about You. The Truth about You is the Reality of God. The Truth about That which is You is the Reality of Life, without any separation between you and this moment, between you and that which is present here.

Once there is the end of this psychological time, where this sense of “I” is present – this element that comes from the past, is living this moment and going towards the future –, the end of this structure is the end of this life centered on this ego identity. So, with the end of this psychological time, there is the end of this structure of the past, where this particular life of the ego is just a reaction that is based on knowledge, experience and these past experiences. A cerebral model of existing as someone, an egoic model of identity, particular and personal, in experience, in living.

So, the beginning of Something new is the Reality of That which is God, in life. A life of Beauty, of Love, of Freedom, of Divine Presence, of Intelligence, free from all these complications, from all this egocentric pattern of being someone. This is present when this Divine Reality shows itself, when this Divine Reality reveals itself.

So, this is our commitment here together. This is why we are with you on the weekends. On Saturday and Sunday, we are together in online meetings. Here in the video description, you can find our WhatsApp to participate in these online meetings, to deepen this, to become aware of it. So, these are two days together, where we are approaching this Revelation of the Truth about ourselves and going beyond all this confusion that this sense of “I,” of the ego represents.

In addition, we have in-person meetings and also retreats at certain times of the year. So, if what you just heard is something that makes sense to you, here is an invitation. Leave your “like” here, subscribe to the channel and leave here in the comments: “Yes, that makes sense.” Ok? And we'll see you. Thanks for the meeting and see you soon!

Thought generates feelings that generate actions | Spiritual Awakening and relationships. Self-image

It is very interesting to tell you what we are going to discuss here; follow calmly what we are going to say. Most of us have never stopped to reflect on this, to ponder it, to think about it. Where do our actions come from? Note that we are, at all times in life, in this contact with life; the only thing we do is actions. Action is what happens, what appears in our contacts. From the morning, as soon as you wake up, your first action is to get out of bed. Notice, there is a relation between you and the bed while you sleep; when you get out of bed in the morning, this relation is broken.

Our life consists of actions happening all the time, where either we encounter that with which we have entered into a relation, we relate to, or we separate, we leave the encounter. So, life consists of actions, of encounters and “missed encounters.” See, this is life happening, this encounter with objects, with things, with nature and this encounter with people. We get closer and also move away. In the morning you leave your family and go to work and in the evening you come back. At some point, you are with a certain person, and then you move away because you have another commitment. So, life consists of contacts of relations and, therefore, of these contacts, behaviors, events, actions.

Now, what are these actions? Where do these actions come from? Now, calmly follow this: where do these actions come from? These actions come naturally, from these reactions that come from within you. Where do your actions come from? They come naturally from memories, from recollections. When you go to work, you have the address, you know where the work is, this is memory. When you do a job, it is an action; the execution of the job requires memory, knowledge. When you come across your wife, you can remember her or him, who is the husband; this is remembrance, it is memory. An action happens because of the movement of thought within you, all the time.

We now have two things here: the movement of life happening, speaking is action, listening is action, hearing is another quality and another level of action. There is a difference between hearing and listening and we will not go into that detail here, we have already explained it in other videos. All of this is part of action happening and these actions are determined by the model of present thought. So, we are constantly in a movement of relation with life, in action, based on thought.

Now, we are faced with a situation here that needs to be investigated: your contact with the pillow, the bed, the sheets, at night, when you sleep, is a simple, direct, natural contact. There is no involvement of thought, feeling, sensation, emotion, or way of perceiving, where the sense of “I,” of the ego, is present. Note, this is not the case in the relation with your wife, with your husband, with your children, with your coworkers, with your boss at work. Your relation with people occurs on another level, it is at the level of a quality of thought that has shown itself in our life of relation, producing confusion, producing disorder, producing suffering.

We need to discover life of relation free from thought. Yes, we need thought at a practical and objective level. You go to work, the memory of where the work is, is memory, the memory of where the building is. So, in the morning, whatever you are doing requires the presence of memory, of recollection, of thought. Brushing your teeth requires motor memory, remembering where you left your briefcase, or your books, or your computer, requires memory. At this level, thought is necessary – being able to recognize your wife or husband’s face in the morning, that is possible because there is a level of recollection and remembrance and the brain is functioning well.

So, at this level, thought is necessary, but notice how curious our behavior is in the sense of the “I,” the ego, when it involves feeling, emotion, way of perceiving, sensation, in relation to people. Note that we have another element present here, which is the quality of thought that we are discussing with you here, within the channel. We have a way of representing life based on this type of thought, this quality of thought, which distorts the vision of reality. We do not stay with what is here, we are always with this model of thought, which is thought that comes from the “I,” from the ego, from this sense of someone present here, at this moment. Something that we carry with us, throughout our entire life, something that we receive from society, culture, from the world, because everyone lives like this.

This model of thought, this quality of thought, this type of thought, has given us an illusory identity present here, at this moment, in this experience of relation. And this is producing confusion, producing suffering, because “my” contact with my husband is based on the ideas that “I” have about who he is – “He hasn’t treated me well, he used to like me, but now he doesn’t anymore. He used to bring me flowers, but now he doesn’t anymore.” “My wife used to do what I wanted, but now she doesn’t do it anymore. She always did what I liked, but now she doesn’t do anymore.” Note that there is a model of thought centered on the “I.” What is this “I” here, that separates itself from him, the husband, and from her, the wife? This “I,” this “me,” is an image that thought has constructed within relations.

So, this relation involves a quality of action in which the “I,” this “me,” this person that “I am” has to be the center of this relation. Follow this here, notice where conflict, problem, disorder, suffering are established within actions. Because, notice, from this model of thought and quality of thought, thought generates feelings that generate actions, thought generates feelings that generate emotions. There is an intimate relation between emotion, feeling, thought, and action. This action is the action centered on this identity that is the ego, the “me,” the “I,” something that thought has established as being real in this structure of life of relation. Are we together?

What we've pointed out to you here is that, at the level of contact with objects, we never call a contact at this level of relation a “relationship.” You never say: “I'm in a relationship with my car,” “I'm in a relationship with my sofa,” “I'm in a relationship with my computer,” “I'm in a relationship with my work.” No, you say: “I am in a relation with work. Yes, I have a relation with the car, I have a relation with the TV when I watch a movie,” but you never call it a “relationship”; But, in this connection with people, we are in what we have called a “relationship,” and these relationships, realize this, are conflicting relationships on some level. There is some kind of longing, desire, search, insecurity, problem, in this quality of relation that we call “relationship.”

And why is this present? Because the illusion of this false identity has been established. Yes, the sense of a present “I” is something that thought is constructing, with a set of feelings, emotions and ways of perceiving that it is cultivating – something that comes from the past, but that is not real. It remains real because we are unaware of this conflicting, distressing and suffering condition of living our relations. We have not turned to the Divine Truth, to the Truth of God. The awareness of the Truth of That which is you in your Being is the revelation of the presence of Life in the relation without the ego, without the “me,” without the “I.” Once this is present, your contact with your husband is no longer at that level; your contact with your wife is no longer at that level, with your family, with your boss, with the world of relations with people. We have another quality of relation, it is the presence of the Reality of God in this contact, at that level. So, the sense of an “I,” of an ego, is not present in this instant, in this moment and, therefore, in this experience.

That is why we have been discussing Spiritual Awakening and this issue of relationships with you here, because these relationships give us a basis for this vision of Awakening, of the blossoming of Divine Truth. When we become aware, within these relationships, of this model of relation based on this image, the direct contact with what we are shows us that there is always a level of contact present in our relationships where what is prevailing is the sense of “I,” of the ego, this self-image. And discovering how to look at this, how to become aware of this and give up on it, to let go of it, to go beyond it, requires the presence of Self-awareness and a direct vision of what the awareness of Meditation is.

Here on this channel, we are working with you on this, showing you that action now, here, can be the action of this Intelligence, Presence, Real Consciousness. This quality of action is not born from this illusory center, this false center that is this self-image. So, you no longer have an image of the other, of your husband, of your wife, of the world around you. There is a new way of looking, of perceiving, of feeling, of living. Yes, exactly that: there is a new way of living, of acting in relations when the sense of “I,” of the ego, of this “me” is no longer present. A direct look at this movement of this false “I,” of this self-image – I will repeat it again – a construct of thought, of this quality of thought that is producing all kinds of suffering in our lives, this is something completely dispensable. When there is this Awakening of Consciousness, this vision of Reality, we have a state of being free from psychological time and free from all forms of psychic suffering.

So, our contact with the moment is the only contact, our relation with this instant is a relation free from this psychological idea of past, present and future. It is a contact with the world around you without the illusion that this world is separate from this “I.” It is just life happening, it is a contact with life, without this center! A space is present, but it is a space free from this center, from this “me,” from this “I.” So, this world is not this strange and separate element, there is something new present in this contact, which is indescribable. We are faced with true action, which is action free from the ego. This is our subject here, with you, within this channel: the end of this illusory present entity – which is this feeling, thought, emotion, sensation, and perception of someone – for a contact with the Reality of what is. Thus, this indescribable Reality, which is Love, Peace, Freedom, Happiness, is now present in relations.

For this purpose, we have online meetings that take place on weekends. Here, in the video description, you will find the link to participate in these online meetings, where we will be investigating this subject with you on Saturday and Sunday. In addition, we have in-person meetings and retreats that take place at certain times of the year. And we also have this subject being explored in depth on our other channel, called “Marcos Gualberto,” which you can check out later. Here, in the video description, you will also find the link to visit the other channel. If what you just heard makes sense to you, touches you in some way, here is an invitation: please give your “like,” subscribe to the channel, and leave a comment saying “Yes, it makes sense.” Ok? And we’ll see you soon! Thanks for the meeting and see you next time.

Self-Awareness: how to develop it? Advaita Meditation. Importance of Self-Awareness. Enlightenment.

A direct approach to everything we deal with here, to all the subjects we cover here on the channel with you, requires a new vision of how to learn. Yes, that's right: we need to learn. The question is: how to learn?

For us, learning means acquiring information, knowledge and experiences and, once we have acquired these, we can act from them. In general, that’s our contact with the general learning that we have out there. At least a good part of what we learn, we learn like this.

Now, I've touched on another form of learning, taking a fresh look at how to approach this subject here. It's new because people have tried to find the Realization of God, or Enlightenment, or Awakening, in books. And here I have something to tell you: you can't be aware of the Truth of God in books.

In books we have words. Words symbolize images, images of things, places, people, everything that thought recognizes. But here, when we are dealing with Divine Truth, we are not dealing with something that thought can recognize. Therefore, we can't find the Truth in words, in symbols, and yet, that’s the way we are distracting ourselves.

Yes, distracting ourselves because when we spend a good part of our lives reading books, studying theories, concepts, words, we are wasting a huge amount of time that could be spent observing our reactions. Because this is how we truly learn about the Truth of God: by studying ourselves, becoming aware of how we internally function, in order to go beyond this condition of egoic identity, which lives in this sense of separation from the Reality of God.

We are only cultivating the intellect when we are studying theories and when reading books. Yes, there is great beauty in the sacred books, but these books point to what is You in Your Being. And if you read these books only with the intellect, you are only bringing more knowledge and information, words, symbols, images about this thing, but none of this is contact with the Truth of your Being, with the Divine Truth.

So, it's not enough for us to study theories, words and concepts. We need direct contact with what we are right now if you want to learn about it. And that's what we're doing here, within this channel and in online and face-to-face meetings. We are discovering what it is to learn about ourselves because the basis for the Awakening of Wisdom, which is the vision of God...

Note, Wisdom is not a subject for philosophy, it's not a subject for a theoretical or conceptual doctrine, whether in Zen, the Vedas or the Scriptures. Wisdom is the awareness of the Truth of God. If there is this Truth of God revealing itself, this life is no longer this particular life of the present ego. We have the Truth of Wisdom. So, Wisdom is a possible subject for each of us when the Reality of God presents itself, shows itself, when there is an end to ignorance, this mistaken view that this model of conditioned intellect that we have has of life.

Thus, all the cultivation of the intellect, even within this theological, theoretical, conceptual, verbal formation of words, this is still part of the conditioning, of this conditioned mind, of this consciousness, which is the egoic consciousness. We definitely need to have an approach to God, but this approach to God requires the presence of the investigation of the nature of the “I,” of the nature of this ego-identity, to put an end to it. This is having a true approach to God. This can't come from theories, it can't come from books, it can't come from hearing talks or lectures, it comes from Self-Awareness.

So, the expression “how to develop Self-Awareness” is something of great importance when we understand the real meaning of this word, as well as the expression “develop.” You can't approach something that requires experience, practice, with beliefs, concepts, ideas, theories.

It's like seeing yourself in the mirror. To see yourself in the mirror you have to look at the mirror, you'll never be able to see yourself in the mirror without being in front of the mirror. You can even have a photograph of the mirror, but you won't be there. A photograph, a photograph of the mirror, is just an image of an object, but you won't be there. Someone can tell you about this mirror, give you a photo of it, but you'll have contact with the truth of this look at yourself when you're in front of the mirror, only when you're in front of the mirror. When you face the mirror, you can see yourself in the mirror. A concept of the mirror, an idea of the mirror, a photograph of the mirror, of the frame of the mirror is not seeing yourself in the mirror.

Here we need to be aware of the Truth about who we are, and this is only possible when you learn what it is to learn about yourself. This requires a direct look at all those inner movements present within you, which are those reactions that arise from remembrances, memories, recollections, where we have present feelings, emotions, sensations, perceptions. This is present here, at this instant, when you look at what is happening here, at this instant, with you.

So, that's the book, that's the real learning. Then, your learning about the truth about yourself is at this instant. I've said this countless times. And it's very purposeful to keep going back, and we always need to go back to basics because we have a very complex psychological movement. Here and now, a large part of everything that has been said since we started talking until now, your brain, in this conditioned model that we have, has already edited it. Some things you've captured and others you've disregarded because we don't know what it's like to learn about ourselves.

We don't know how to listen, for example. Learning about yourself requires listening. But listening all the way, following the sound completely. It's like when you listen to the sound – you've probably had this experience – when you hear an airplane cutting through the sky, you follow the airplane, the sound of the airplane, from the beginning, as it passes, to the end. You follow that sound to the end and then silence establishes again. So, first there's silence and then the sound begins faintly and it increases, increases, increases, increases and reaches a point where it begins to diminish, at which point it also begins to disappear, until the silence is present again. That's listening.

When you are ready to listen to a bird singing, it is singing and you are listening to it. It starts to make its little notes and you follow along. Notice how interesting this approach to listening is. We can hear an airplane, we can hear a bird, we can hear a whistle, when it starts and when it ends, but we can't hear ourselves, our internal reactions.

We don't know how to follow a movement of internal thought arising. There's always an element in us that interrupts it. When the thought is pleasurable, this element latches onto and floats on to that specific feeling, emotion or sensation of that thought. If the thought is painful, immediately that element that arises doesn't want that thought, so it starts to fight the thought. We do this unconsciously when we go off to do something else, for example, or when we start humming or looking for something else externally to listen to, to drown out that internal sound of that thought that we don't want present.

So notice, we don't know what it's like to come close to learning about ourselves. We don't listen to our thoughts all the way through. We also don't know how to listen to feelings when they arise, emotions when they appear, the way we perceive, we don't know how to be aware of this. We don't know because we're always putting an element in this experience. That element is the “I,” the one who likes or dislikes what you feel, what you think, what you see. So there's always this element, which is the ego, which is the “I,” which comes from the past, interfering in this listening, in this hearing of what's happening to us. Let's comprehend that clearly here.

Thus, we never put ourselves in front of this mirror of self-revelation of the “I,” this “me,” this ego. Our internal movement is one of escape. When things are unpleasant, or when there is attachment, or fixation when things are pleasurable, the result is the maintenance or continuity of this element, which is the ego, this feeling of “I,” of “me,” of the person present. So there is no Freedom. Get that here.

We don't have a movement of Intelligence, of Presence, of awareness of simply Being. That requires listening, and we don't have that listening. So, the sound of the airplane, the sound of the bird or that whistle, doesn't interfere with this self-centered element, which is this “me,” this “I,” this ego. It has no pleasure or pain in that sound, so it listens. But this element in us, which is the ego, lives within a model of duality; it is always seeking pleasure and always trying to get rid of or get away from pain. Then, pleasure it grabs and clings to, and pain it runs away from and rejects.

Thus, we don't know ourselves, we don't understand ourselves, so we aren't aware of the Truth about who we are here at this instant, in this contact with the other, with the situation, with the event, with the experience. Because, in the ego, we are within this selective model of feeling, thinking and acting. It's all this movement of volition, of wanting, not wanting, seeking more or getting rid of. So, we want it or we don't want it, we like it or we don't like it.

Thus, we live within a principle of duality, of self-centeredness. We don't know the Truth of life as it is, as it happens, because we are always making “our choices” from this center, which is an artificial entity present within the experience of life. Note how delicate this is. This condition of behavior is one of ignorance, illusion and egocentric self-assertion.

“I like people who give me an image of pleasure because they offer it to me, gratify me with pleasure, I like them, and I don't like people who give me nothing or who, when they get close, instead of bringing pleasure, they bring problems.” All of this may seem very reasonable, and from the viewpoint of this center, which is the “I,” yes, it is quite reasonable, but we don't realize that this movement is separatist, it separates me from the Totality of Life and makes me always see myself as a person within the experience of living in relationships. And a detail: a person with fear and also loaded with desires.

This is unawareness of the Totality of life, of the movement of life. This is not awareness of the Truth about who we are because you are not a person. There is a Reality present here and now beyond this model of liking and disliking, of seeing the other and seeing yourself, in this duality, in this separation, where there is you and the other, you and what I like, you and what you like, you and what you don't like.

Here we are, with you, showing you that there is a Reality present beyond this “you,” this “I,” this “me,” this self-centered model of existence. This requires a new way of looking at things, a new way of feeling, acting, thinking, being in relationship with others, with life, with the world around you, but it requires you to get closer and discover how you work internally.

Why are reactions the way they are? Because there is this egocentric model of being, where we live within a pattern of accepting people, concepts, preconceptions, the search for more, this eagerness to want, this incompleteness of being, this whole level of present dissatisfaction and model of relating to others, to life, to ourselves based on this false center. To become aware of this is to go beyond it.

So, the Awakening of your Real Nature is Self-Awareness. The basis is this Self-Awareness. Then, the Truth of Meditation blossoms. Here we are showing you what the Real vision of Meditation is within approaching Non-duality. Thus, the vision of Advaita Meditation, of Self-Awareness brings you closer to the Reality of your Being, which is Non-dual. That's our subject here with you within this channel.

We have online meetings that take place on weekends. On Saturdays and Sundays, we're together going deeper into all this with you. So, in this contact with Silence, with direct Meditation work, we are working on this vision of the Reality of the Awakening of Consciousness or Spiritual Enlightenment. If what you've just heard makes sense to you, here in the video description, you have our WhatsApp link to take part in these online meetings.

We also have face-to-face meetings and retreats. Here's an invitation, go ahead, leave your “like” here, subscribe to the channel and say in the comments: “Yes, it makes sense.” OK? And we'll see you. Thanks for the meeting and see you next time!

Joel Goldsmith | Living between two worlds | Life chaos in the ego | Master Gualberto

GC: Hello, everyone! We are here for another videocast. Once again, Master Gualberto is with us. Thank you very much, Master, for being here.

Today I am going to read an excerpt from Joel Goldsmith’s book called “Living between two worlds.” In an excerpt from this book, Master, Joel makes the following comment: “When inner peace comes, it shapes and reforms our outer life.” Master, can you tell us a little about this life chaos in the ego and also about what this True Peace is?

MG: Gilson, this topic of “peace” is something that has been talked about a lot. Since the beginning of time, human beings have talked about peace. Everyone loves to talk about peace! Priests talk about peace, politicians talk about peace, educators talk about peace, and those who give speeches often touch on this topic, which is the issue of peace. Talking about peace... When you say “tell us about peace,” look, Gilson, we have to investigate the truth of what is present here, what is the truth of what is present here, because talking about peace as a concept, an idea, a belief, an ideology, everyone is already doing that, and when we look at the world, we realize that there is no peace in the world.

So, we have to investigate, to get closer, take a closer look at what is present here. And what do we find here? It is not peace. What we find here is conflict, disorder, confusion, fear, contradiction, everything that the sense of “I,” of the ego, represents. We have to get rid of this and not make speeches about peace, and not keep talking about peace, when, in fact, what we are experiencing is something else. So, we are very biased, Gilson, to seek ideologies, to deal with what should be, to talk about what could be, to speculate about it, to write about it, to make speeches about it. And what should it be? It is peace! But what kind of peace is this, that should be?

We never get closer, Gilson, to the Truth of Peace. We always remain in these discourses, in these beliefs, in these concepts, in these sermons about the need for peace, the imperative need for this encounter of harmonious relations between us and so on, while, in fact, what we have is contradiction, is problem, is suffering, is envy, ambition, the search for power. And all of this is what is present here, and we are not dealing with it as it really shows itself. We are theorizing about something we do not know, which is the Truth of Peace.

Peace, Gilson, is something that is present when the ego is not there, when we are free from ambition, envy, jealousy, fear, from all the conflicts implied in the presence of desires, when there is no longer a search for power, personal fulfillment, when there are no longer divergences between opinions, ideas and beliefs… When we look at the world, we see that what there is, is exactly this: divergence of opinions, ideas, beliefs – political beliefs, religious beliefs… and if this is present, we do not know the Truth of Peace, because we do not know the Truth of non-separation, of non-duality.

The sense of the “I,” of the ego, Gilson, in its self-centeredness, does not know Peace. Everything it knows is that which is part of the model of thought, and everything that thought represents to the “I” is within what it seeks as its ideal of self-fulfillment. As long as there is, within each one of us, this way of thinking, acting, moving in the world, in life, based on this conditioning that we have received from this culture, this society, this model of the world, there will be no Peace, there will be no Love, there will be no Freedom, there will be no Happiness. We need to go beyond this, discovering Divine Reality, the Reality of God, becoming aware of something outside this model of the common mind, of the egoic mind, of the human mind as we know: a mind centered on the values of ambition, envy, the search for power, fulfillment, achievement.

This pattern of self-centeredness of the ego is what sustains confusion in the world. As long as there is suffering within each one of us, there will be suffering externally, because we are the confusion in the world. In this sense of the “I,” in this sense of the ego, all we do is sustain the disorder and, therefore, the absence of Peace.

GC: Master, we have a question here, from one of the channel subscribers, Salete. She asks the following question: “How can I abandon the ego that lives in a feeling of guilt?”

MG: Look at her question, it’s a great one: “How do we let go of the ego that carries this feeling of guilt?” In fact, the ego represents your world. The whole vision of the world you have is based on the vision you have about who you are within this context. So, everything we receive from culture, society, and the world has shaped this center that is the “I,” the ego. But is it just the feeling of guilt that is present? No, thought is present. See, it is the present thought bringing a memory, a remembrance, something that comes from the past. Our response to this moment, based on a recollection, a remembrance, a memory, is something that comes from the past. The truth about this is that this is bringing, for each one of us, at this moment, the illusion of an identity. So, this identity, which is the “I,” the ego, this “me,” is in guilt, but this “me,” this ego, is nothing other than thought itself, something that comes from the past.

Here, it is about becoming aware of this movement, which is the movement of thought, something that comes from the past. But it doesn't just bring guilt, it brings the story of the “I,” the story of the experiencer, of the thinker, of the one who supposedly lived that particular thing yesterday, which one regrets today. Then, there comes frustration, remorse, anger, guilt, but also fear, desire, and the way of looking at him or her based on a memory of unpleasant situations that you lived with him or her. See, this image is also something that thought produces, something that comes from the past.

So, our psychological condition, Gilson, in this life of the “I” is a condition of suffering, disorder, confusion, and conflict. Breaking with this is breaking with this model of being someone, and when this is broken, this condition of disorder, confusion, suffering and, therefore, conflict, disappears. That's when there is the presence of Peace, of Real Peace.

As it has already been said, we are unaware of the Truth of this Peace. We talk about it, but we don't know it; we talk about love, but we don't know it; about freedom, but we don’t know it; we talk about the absence of the ego and, therefore, about the freedom of not feeling guilty, but we don’t know the beauty of this absence of the ego. I say again: it’s not just guilt, it’s everything that the ego represents in this sense of being someone, in this old model that comes from the past, sustaining this present and moving towards this future that it also idealizes.

A closer look at the truth about yourself is the end of all this. You ask: “How can I abandon the ego?” By becoming aware of its movement at this moment, by perceiving all this play that thought builds, that it brings to this moment. And when it arrives here, at this moment, it brings “someone” with it, who is this “thinker,” who is this “experiencer,” who is the one who arrives, observes and wants to get rid of it. This “observer” is the one who appears and, upon seeing something that one doesn’t like, wants to get rid of it.

Notice how confusing this model of the “I” is! It wants to get rid of guilt, but it doesn’t want to get rid of pleasure. See, guilt here is a memory, something that comes from the past, but pleasure here is also a memory that comes from the past. So, the functioning of the ego is very confusing! It wants to get rid of what is unpleasant, but it wants to sustain what is pleasant. This sustaining of one thing is also the sustaining of the other, because it is the sustaining of the ego. We want to get rid of an ego that feels guilt, that feels anger, that feels fear, that suffers, but we do not want to get rid of the ego that is attached to pleasure, to desire, to the search for fulfillment and achievement, for satisfaction. We do not realize that all of this is still part of the movement of the ego. The one who sustains desire is the same one who sustains fear; the one who sustains pain is the same one who sustains pleasure. Breaking with all of this is the end of the ego, it is the end of this duality: pleasure/pain, desire/fear, joy/sadness. So, something new is present when illusion ends. The Awareness of this is the Revelation of God, it is the Revelation of your Being.

GC: Master, even on this subject that Salete mentioned, about guilt… I remember that, before I met the Master, I had a very strong feeling of guilt within me. Even, for example, within this spiritual journey, I had a meditation practice and, if I didn’t wake up early to do my meditation practice… wow! I would feel guilty the rest of the day, criticizing myself, condemning myself, because I didn’t wake up early to do what I had set out to do. And it’s interesting, Master, how I was completely unaware of this movement of guilt and I would get caught up in it. And I remember thinking: “Wow, a wasted day!”, just because I didn’t wake up and didn’t do what I had set out to do. So, it’s really impressive how, when we let ourselves be carried away by thoughts, by feelings, it’s just downhill.

MG: Yes, Gilson, the problem lies precisely in this lack of awareness of the thought model that we have. Understand one thing here, we are going to have a very clear approach with you now regarding this: our entire process of consciousness is the process of this mind as we know it, and the mind is nothing other than memories, remembrances. Some divide the mind into conscious and unconscious. So, what are recent memories, we call “consciousness”; the older, stored remembrances, we call “unconscious memory,” but they are also memories, they are still memories, they are still part of memory, therefore they are still thoughts. So, everything is thought!

If you have a recent memory, it easily shows itself. If I ask, for example, your name – we always go back to these very basic examples –, your name is part of this conscious memory, so you tell me your name. The brain has a quick response, practically in a few seconds. The brain has a quick response, you immediately say your name. Now, if I ask something that requires a little more time to emerge... Note, this extra few seconds for a memory to emerge is relative to a memory that is stored somewhere there, as a more remote part of the brain. And some memories are like that. If I ask: “Do you remember your childhood?”, you will stop for a moment and there will be a movement of thought within you, searching for that memory of when you were five years old, for example. You will look for there. This “search” is a movement of the brain itself in search of an answer to this challenge, it is a reaction that will be answered when the memory of when you were five years old appears.

So, some memories in us require a little more time to emerge, to appear. It is not like remembering your name or your address, or how old you are. If I ask you how old your mother is, you will stop for a moment to think about it. Your father's age, your grandmother's full name... you're going to look for it, and this “looking” is stopping for a bit and waiting, and waiting for this movement of brain response to emerge, for memory reaction to appear. This is a more hidden memory. So, we have more recent memories, easily accessible, and other more hidden memories, but all of this is part of this mind. So, what is the mind? It is this movement of memory. The mind divided into conscious and unconscious is nothing other than a set of recollections and remembrances.

That's how we function. This is the sense of the present “I,” this is the sense of being someone present here, in this moment. Everything you respond to from thought is responding from memory. So, in this sense of the “I,” of the ego, of this consciousness that we divide into conscious and unconscious mind, we are nothing other than recollections and remembrances. We are not aware of this movement, we have not discovered what it is to look at this movement, which is the movement of thought present in each one of us. We have not discovered the importance of following this, of becoming aware of this movement. We are confusing ourselves with this movement, which is the movement of thought. Thus, some remembrances arise and, with these remembrances, we get confused, we identify ourselves. In other words, we sustain an identity present in remembrances.

Notice how delicate all this is. When a memory arises, what is present is a response of the brain to a given stimulus that it has received. Whether this occurs consciously or unconsciously, whether you are clearly aware of it – in this sense, whether you are conscious of it – or whether you are not clearly aware of it, that means, whether it is processed or occurs unconsciously, all we are doing, all the time, is, based on memory, responding to a conscious or unconscious reaction.

Here, this happens to us throughout the day and we have not yet discovered the value of looking at this movement, which is the movement of consciousness, which is the movement of the mind. Thus, throughout the day, we are going through internal, psychophysical states of emotion, feeling, perception, sensation, based on thoughts, based on this structure that comes from the past. Thus, our reactions and responses in a dialogue with someone, or in a form of behavior, or in the expression of feeling or emotion, occur to us in a totally unconscious way, because we are not aware of the movement of thought itself, of these reactions. This is the movement of the ego.

Here, we are telling you, putting it in front of you, making you aware of the opportunity, of the great blessing of going beyond this model of unconsciousness through Self-awareness. Self-awareness is the approach of this look at these reactions, becoming aware of this model of thinking, feeling, getting emotional, acting in the relationship with him or her, in the relationship with life, in a relationship with yourself … Becoming aware of this is Self-awareness. When there is this basis, which is the basis of Self-awareness, there is a door that opens up, which reveals something beyond this way of feeling, thinking, getting emotional, responding, reacting to life, which is the old movement of the ego.

So, can we free ourselves from this condition of ego-identity? The answer to this is: yes, when we become aware of the movement of the “I” itself, when we learn to get closer to our reactions, when we learn to observe the mind. This observation requires a gaze free from the element that, when seeing something, may like or dislike it, may want more of that or less of that. This element is the “I,” it is the ego, it is the observer.

So, Gilson, the end of this condition of guilt or fear, or reaction of anger, of indifference, and everything else that we know in this ego-identity, the end of all this requires the presence of this looking without the observer. So, we are always being victimized by psychological states of suffering, conflict, contradiction, and emotional disorder, because we do not know ourselves, we do not perceive all this unconscious movement that takes place. We do not know how this mind works, how this consciousness works, how we are functioning in life.

GC: Thank you, Master! Our time has ended. Thank you for this videocast.

And for those of you who are truly interested in delving deeper, in understanding these subjects, we invite you to participate in the meetings that Master Gualberto provides, which are these meetings called “Satsang,” where the Master, in addition to answering our questions, because he already lives in this State of Awakened Consciousness, shares a Power, a Presence, a Grace, which makes it much easier for us to understand and investigate ourselves.

Spiritual Awakening and Relationship | Thoughts generate feelings that generate actions | Self-image

Here, in these meetings, we have one purpose, and the purpose is to become aware of Divine Reality, the Truth about ourselves. This is the awareness of God. Once this becomes very clear, without any level of confusion, disorder, or suffering, we are faced with What some call the Awakening of Consciousness or Spiritual Enlightenment.

Your True Nature is Divine Nature, it is the Nature of God. I want to begin this talk here by addressing this issue of life, where actions happen. In general, we call relationships what occurs between people. You never say that you are in a relationship with your car, or with the sofa in your house, or with the TV. We, in general, use the expression relationship linked to contact between people.

I want to touch on this issue of Awakening and relationships. Let us take a closer look at this with you. After all, what does life consist of? Life consists of actions happening. So, let's get to the issue of relationships.

Life consists of relationships. Yes, we are in a relationship with objects from morning to night. When you get out of bed in the morning, you have just broken a relationship with the pillow, the sheet, the pillowcase, the bed. Then this relationship is broken and new relationships begin to form: with the toothbrush, with the bathroom mirror.

So, our contact in life, or in this life, is one of relation. And we confuse the beauty of the relationship with this disorder and contradiction present in what we call a relationship, which is what happens between people. So, let's look at something here with you.

I believe that it is essential that you be willing to engage in passive listening. This passive listening is the ability to simply listen to a speech like this and follow along, without any need to agree or disagree with what you hear.

So, the correct way to approach listening is that, at that moment, it becomes possible for us to be on the same wavelength, because we can follow a speech like this without agreeing or disagreeing. This puts you in an internal disposition, where you are not simply listening to the speech, but there is a listening, and in this listening there is neither the one speaking, notice, nor the one listening.

So, the truth of listening is that the one listening does not interfere, and the speech of the one speaking is just speech. There is no commitment to convincing, to persuasion. So, it is not about you simply believing in this. It is not about an intention here to make you believe. Just listen.

In this listening, it is revealed whether what is being said is real or not. And no agreement or disagreement is necessary. And no motivation here or there to impose any level of belief on you is necessary. Let's investigate this issue of action with you here. Let's see if a speech like this communicates something to us.

Note: communication is something possible when there is this listening. Once we are in tune, in an encounter, where what prevails is not the intellect, but the heart, we can enter into a deep communion, within a speech like this. Then, we do indeed have an approach to the truth of action.

We have just said: from morning until night, we are within actions happening, actions of relationships. We do not fight with the pillow, nor with the pillowcase, nor with the sheet, nor with the toothbrush, nor with the mirror. But in our life, in the relationship with the other, with the other, in the relationship with people, we have transformed this into a quality of relationship where conflict is present, where some level of discord, of complication, of suffering is present.

We call these encounters our relationships. So, we are always in contact with people, with our husband, our wife, our children, our family, with the world around us, with this world of people within contacts, of relationships.

Is it possible for us to discover here, in life, a quality of life that is pure relationship? Where can we have something present beyond this mere condition of association that we have with people, where a psychological bond is present, where feelings, emotions, sensations are involved, where the sense of an identity present in this model of experience is present?

The truth about life is that life consists of relationships, and in these relationships, actions take place. But if in these actions, the sense of a present identity is involved, which is the “I,” this “me,” this sense of person, in this contact with him or her, confusion arises, complications arise, problems arise. And why does it arise? Because we are placing into this action an unnecessary quality of thought. It is the quality of thought that comes from a background, that comes from a past, from a memory, from a recollection, from a previous relationship with him or her.

With him or her I already have an idea of who he or she is, and based on this, my contact with him or her is a contact based on a configuration of ideas that I have. So, this action, here and now, in this encounter, is not an action free from thought, but it is an action organized, programmed, idealized by thought. Let us clarify this for you here.

When you look at a sunset, or a sunrise, or are in front of a river, or in some level of contact with nature, you know that this contact is always new. You have the garden of your house. In the morning you come across the garden. You have no problem with the garden. You come across the sunset, you have no problem with the sunset. You come across the river, there, sitting, when you go fishing. You have no problem with the river.

In contact with nature, you have no problem. In contact with getting out of bed in the morning, you have no problem. Your contact is a contact of relationship, whether with nature or with objects, like the pillow or the pillowcase. There is no problem. And yet, in contact with your wife, you see her from the past.

Your contact with life at this moment, follow this, is a new contact, always new, like this contact with nature, like this contact with your pillow. You are in a new contact. You just broke off contact a few hours earlier, in the morning, and now you go back to sleep at night, and again the relationship is present with the pillow, with the bed, with the pillowcase, with the blanket, and there is no psychological conflict.

But in contact with your wife, your husband, your children, with people around you, conflict is established, conflict is present. Why is conflict present? Because you see them, you see them from the perspective of thought, from this quality of thought that I am discussing with you here.

We need to become aware of the truth about this model of thought, which places us in a relationship that is not a simple and direct relationship with what is here, at this moment. We are in contact, in this relationship, from the perspective of thought, and thought distorts the reality of the moment, distorts the reality of the encounter.

When you come across your wife or husband or children or people, it is not like coming across nature. You are always in contact with everything around you, but with him or her, your contact is based on images that you have, that you bring from the past. Thus, our actions occur within this psychological condition, where contradiction is established, some level of discomfort, problem, suffering, and this is present due to the model of thought.

Note what we are saying here. We are telling you that it is possible to have a life in contact, where there is a relation without the basis of this model of thought where you either like it or dislike it, where this movement of thought is accompanied by feelings, sensations, emotions. This occurs due to the way you see it, based on an image that thought has constructed about who she is or who he is.

So, our actions are not free actions. They are actions that have the quality of thought. Note that thoughts generate feelings, and these feelings generate actions. Thus, this action that is based on thought, principle, and motive, they are actions that arise from conclusions, beliefs, and statements that come from the past. So, there is this liking or disliking.

This action is based on this movement, and this movement is the movement of the ego, it is the movement of the “I”, of this feeling, of thought of the person that I have about who I am. This has built an image of who the other is, of who the other represents to “me”. Thus, our actions are egocentric actions, producing disorder, producing suffering.

Note that when we are in contact with people, we get tired of them. So, there is this movement of liking and disliking the same person. Note that internally we are in contradiction. Our behavior is happening in this model of contradiction.

Is it possible for us to discover a life free from this sense of person that we bring to our relationships? And, therefore, is it possible for us to live free from this model of relationship as we know it, to have contact with him or her, with life, in this contact with people, with the same freedom that I have in this contact of relation, for example, with nature? [Is it possible] to have a life without conflict, without contradiction, without disorder, without suffering?

This is what we are inviting you to investigate here. This is possible when you understand the movement of this consciousness, which is the consciousness of the “I” within you, when you go beyond this model of identity of the “I,” of this person, of this self-image, which is the image you have of who you are. If this ends, you will no longer construct images of the people around you.

Your contact with him or her will no longer be a contact based on thought. You do have the necessary, functional, practical and objective memory in this relationship. This memory is like being in front of nature and being able to remember that the sun is there, that the river is there, that the flowers are there in that garden of your house, but it is a contact of memory where the past does not exist. There is only an acknowledgment of what is present, but there is no past there.

Your contact with your wife can be free of the past; with your husband it can be free of the past; with people it can be free of the past. Your contact with yourself can be free of the past. Contact at this level is the relation, where the ego, the “I,” is not there. And, therefore, this sense of separation, of duality, “me and not me,” “me and him,” “me and her,” “me and the world,” is not there.

From this element, which is the feeling, the thought of “I,” that this separation arises. And if this separation is present, what is present is a level of contact that is not of a simple and direct relationship, because we have this psychological element, which is the ego, which is the “I,” which is this self-image, translating this contact at the level of searching for something, of demanding something. So, desire is present and fear is present.

Here we are with you investigating the Truth of Spiritual Awakening and this illusion of this relationship model. When there is the Flourishing of your Divine Nature, which is the Truth of your Being at this moment, your contact with the moment is new, it is not something that comes from the past. Note that it seems that what was said here has already become clear. Your readiness to simply listen has already shown you this.

Your contact with the bedroom is new, your contact with the mirror in the morning is a new contact, but the contact with your wife or husband, based on thought, something that comes from the past, from within you, is transforming this contact into something old, without the beauty, the freshness, the naturalness, the enchantment of the moment.

You never see the same sunset; you never see the same sunrise. In the morning it is a new sunrise and in the evening, you are faced with a new sunset. So, this contact with the world around you, where people are present, can be a contact like this, if the ego is not there. Then, we have a totally different quality of action. An action free from the past and, therefore, free from the psychological dependence that thought introduces into our relationships.

This is our subject here with you. We are proposing to you the end of the “I,” the end of the ego, a life free from contradiction, from suffering, where Love is present in the relationship. So, yes, our relationships are no longer the old relationships based on the old model of the ego. We are facing Something new.

What is Self-Awareness? Self-investigation. Psychological time. What is thought? Who am I?

What underpins our meetings here is this Self-discovery. When you ask me: “What exactly is it that you are discussing in these meetings? I have already read something about this issue of ‘who am I?’ I have already studied a little about Advaita, about non-duality. I have already read books about the Awakening of Consciousness, about Spiritual Enlightenment, it seems to me that you are discussing these subjects here. What exactly do you mean? How can we free ourselves from all this confusion of tangled words?” In general, people have felt exactly like this, as if they were inside a forest of information, of knowledge. So, I have been telling you here that we do not need more information, more knowledge.

The first thing that became clear in this meeting with my teacher, with my Master, was that I no longer needed knowledge, information, or learning from books. Follow that with me, here, in this statement. The first thing that became clear to me is that the time had come for a direct experience, for a direct experiencing, of something outside the intellect. Note that most of us, most people who come here on the channel, arrive very well informed. They have already read a lot, studied a lot, and have also been involved in various forms of practices, have been within various systems and have been involved in various so-called “spiritual” practices. In general, we spend a good deal of time in this so-called “search” or “quest,” in this search for spirituality, involved in that, involved in this model of behavior. We study and practice what that group teaches us, what that system teaches us.

Here we are with you investigating something else, we are investigating how to have a direct look, completely dispensing with practices, rules, systems and techniques, dispensing with theoretical and conceptual studies, regarding the Truth of the Divine Revelation. Note, it is not the words that get in our way, but the whole idea about what these words mean. We do not get a direct look at what the word represents, in general we are left with the ideas of these representations. Let us clarify this here for you: we do not need more information, what we need is to become aware of what we are here and now, of what is happening to us at this moment – this will reveal to us something that the word and the idea about the word cannot reveal to us.

We have emphasized here how to have a direct approach to this, and the precise, direct, clear, objective way to do this approach is through Self-Awareness. So, we have to answer here first, the first of all questions is: what is Self-Awareness? Now, we cannot approach this expression “Self-Awareness” by giving it meanings or having ideas about this expression. We can only know the truth of the answer to what Self-Awareness is, through experience, through direct experiencing. Then, I have emphasized here the beauty of learning, and here “learning” is exactly unlearning everything that we have received and discovering what it is to look. This is real learning, the real looking at what is here, present in this moment, makes us understand the Truth about what we are at this instant. And when this happens, we truly begin to unlearn everything that we believe we are, everything that we idealize ourselves to be, seek to be, think we are, we mistake ourselves for being ourselves. All of this begins to be unlearned in this approach to this learning about ourselves, and this is the Truth of Self-Awareness revealing itself.

Here we are dealing with an emptying of all the content of this “I,” this “me,” this sense of person with which we mistake ourselves for, with which we identify; this model of person that we believe we are, that we sustain we are here, at this moment, in this experience, in life. So, here the question is: what is Self-Awareness? Notice, there is a great deal of confusion here, once again, in the use of this expression. The idea that one has, based on the expression itself, is that it is knowledge of oneself. But this is very delicate, this issue of approaching this knowledge of oneself. Because, in general, thought says something about who you are, and it draws a conclusion; and based on this conclusion, it sustains itself in supposed knowledge. What, in fact, we have at this moment is a construct of thought itself about who we are.

We are before an illusion: the idea of self-awareness, the ideal of self-awareness. This is within a model of illusion because it is based on a mistaken principle. And the principle is the model of thought recognizing itself, having a look. Everything that thought can see from it is part of itself and, as part of itself, is not reality. So, any self-awareness you have is just thought drawing conclusions, forming an image, a frame about who you are. That is not what we are dealing with here, on this channel. When we use the expression “Self-Awareness” – which is the expression that is used – here on the channel we use it in a specific way; we are signaling, pointing out the Truth that every vision that the “I” has of itself, that thought makes of itself, is illusory.

The Truth of Self-Awareness is the end of the illusion of someone knowing oneself, of a thinker recognizing oneself, of an experiencer talking about oneself. When there is the Truth of Self-Awareness, there is no one left, because this Self-Awareness is exactly the discarding of this center, of this thinker, of this experiencer, of this “I,” of this thought about who he is, about who she is, about who I am. The idea “I am” is part of thought. When people use expressions like “I am” and make statements about this “I am,” what are we doing? We are just putting a thought format, a concept, a belief, an intellectual conclusion. Can we become aware of the Truth about ourselves? Yes, when there is an end to this illusion of this “I,” this “me,” this ego.

This is the Truth of Self-Awareness: when there is, I repeat, when there is a revelation of the Truth of That which is you in your Being, there is no one left. Therefore, all this knowledge that is acquired, all these experiences in the so-called “spiritual” or “mystical” practices, all of this is something that is still only at the service of a model of psychological conditioning. That gives formation and support to this pattern of psychological time, in which the “I” is present and living from it, from this psychological time. Therefore, everything that you can acquire and accumulate, experience, save, is within this context of psychological time at the service of this “I,” this “me,” this ego. The Truth of Self-Awareness – that is why we have been talking here with you about the importance of Self-Awareness – the importance of Self-Awareness is that, in it, there is the discarding of the illusion of a present identity in order to know oneself.

This is the importance of Self-Awareness, because we have the end of this psychological time, where the sense of the “I,” of the ego, extracts its existence, its model of being someone, of being a person, living a life separate from the one Life, from the Reality of life. So, this particular life of this “I,” of this ego, is established in this psychological time. The central idea is: “I was, I am and I will be.” That ends when there is this Revelation of the Divine Nature. That's not something personal, there is no person in this. There is no center, there is no “me,” there is no “I.” Then, we have the answer to the question “who am I?” A direct answer is the clear perception of Reality outside of the known. That which is outside of the known that reveals itself is the answer to this question. No one is left with an answer, there is no verbal answer, there is no answer in language, in words, in expression. We are before something that is the Unknown. This is the Divine Truth, the Truth of this Essential Nature of yours, where you as a person do not exist, you as someone are not present. This is something that requires a deep comprehension of the Truth about ourselves, of our reactions. The main element within these reactions is the element of thought.

This is a subject we have been addressing here to you. We are investigating what thought is. Note, it is not about acquiring information about any of this; it is about observing in oneself these reactions, this entire process of psychological movement of this “I,” in this psychological time that thought constructs. So, what is thought? Becoming aware of how this is processed, how it is present in this model of being someone. Looking at this directly is being able to discard this psychological condition, discovering something outside of this “I.” Then, our subject here is a direct approach to what is happening, what is processed, what occurs with each one of us at this instant, at this moment. I have said that this is like riding a bike: you do not theorize about it, you do not read books about it, you do not learn it from someone. You learn to ride a bike and you ride a bike alone. Riding a bike is not being on the back of a bike, it is not being carried by someone on a bike, it is pedaling a bike, it is balancing on a bike. It is in this sense that I use the expression “riding a bike” here.

The Realization of the Truth is an acknowledgement, becoming aware of oneself, and this is something that is experiential, not theoretical, not conceptual. You can’t do this by studying books; it requires a work on yourself. That’s why we’re inviting you to participate in the online meetings we have here on the weekends. On Saturday and Sunday we’ll be together, investigating these issues, studying ourselves, discovering what this unlearning is, in this learning of the Truth of That which is present here and now. It’s learning without accumulating information, without the need for theoretical knowledge, because it’s like riding a bike. On Saturday and Sunday, we’ll be together online; you can find our WhatsApp link here in the video description to participate in these online meetings on the weekends.

We also have face-to-face meetings, retreats, all of these are opportunities given to you for direct work to realize the Truth about yourself in this life. So, I want to leave you with this invitation: if what you have just heard is something that makes sense to you, if you feel that this is your moment to Awaken, to go beyond this dream, this sleep, which is the common condition of human beings in this context of life, where within this illusion, this sense of being someone, of living as someone, suffering is present, problems are present, the lack of knowledge of God is present. Therefore, if this makes sense to you, here is an invitation: go ahead, leave your “like” here and subscribe to the channel, OK? And we'll see each other. Thanks for the meeting and see you next time.

Advaita Vedanta | What is Kundalini? | How to attain Spiritual Enlightenment | Kundalini Energy

Life for almost all of us has shown itself to be quite uninteresting. So, there is a search by human beings for something beyond this, this dissatisfaction, this unhappiness, identified by them. Then, there is a search for this thing called unhappiness, a mere reaction to this, actually, psychological state of dissatisfaction, which we call unhappy. Thus, human beings apply themselves to a search for something beyond that.

Here we wor with you on a playlist about the Truth of Kundalini Awakening, about Kundalini energy. Notice, here we come across something that thought has imagined, has produced within this myth format. So, we are dealing psychologically when we use expressions like Kundalini or Kundalini energy. We don't understand the truth about Kundalini. We don't understand what Kundalini actually is, what Kundalini Awakening actually is, and what the truth of this present energy is.

Thus, people imagine many things about Kundalini. We don't know what Kundalini is, we don't know what Kundalini Awakening is. So, we use expressions and mythologize and mystify this thing called Kundalini.

Thus, there are all kinds of so-called practices around this intention of this Awakening, which is something within this spectacular imaginary movement of thought. We need to understand the truth about what Kundalini is, and we have to demystify it, remove the myth from this expression.

Here, Kundalini is a word that we borrowed from the East, which, in reality, is synonymous with this Divine Presence in this body, in this mechanism, and which, in fact, upon Awakening, brings about a profound and radical change in this organism, in this mechanism. And this change brings about a Natural State of Being, free from what we know as ourselves in this configuration or this model of life that we know.

So, when the Awakening of the Truth of Consciousness occurs... Here, of course, we have to distinguish between the Truth of this Consciousness in us and this model of consciousness that we know in ourselves.

The model we know in ourselves as consciousness is this consciousness of the mind, it's the conscious mind, where there is a pattern of behavior, where there is the idea of a separate “I,” present in life but separate from it, present in experience but separate from experience. This is what we know as consciousness in us. This model of consciousness present in us is the consciousness of the “I.”

Here, an approach to the Truth of That Which Is You represents the Awakening of your Essential Nature. The Truth of this present Divine Nature is Kundalini. So, note: Kundalini is simply synonymous with Consciousness, Real Consciousness in us. This Real Consciousness in us is the nature of Love, Peace, Freedom, Happiness, of what life represents in this moment when the sense of “I,” of “ego” is not present.

So, the truth of this Real Consciousness is Being, Happiness, is Consciousness. So, another thing here is the understanding that, when we deal with this Kundalini energy – we need to understand this very clearly – we are only talking about this vital Kundalini energy.

Notice that your body needs food. This food is transformed into energy in this mechanism, in this organism. This energy, that comes from food, is available for this whole psycho-physical process in this organism. This energy is the energy available for the change that is necessary in this body, which takes place with the Awakening of Kundalini. So, notice it: this Kundalini energy is the energy present in this mechanism, in this living organism, which, when it becomes involved with this process of change, this Real Presence of Kundalini is activated.

So, we've been using expressions like: Kundalini activation, Kundalini energy, Kundalini Awakening, but what thought builds up around this is a myth. Then, we're dealing with something that thought is also mystifying. There is a lot of illusion about what this Awakening is, what this Blossoming of this Real Divine Presence is here, at this instant.

When there is the Awakening of Kundalini, when this Real Consciousness takes over this space because it has the Freedom to take over this body and this mind, when it happens, when it occurs, we have the settling of a State in you, which is the Natural State. It is this Natural State that some call the Awakening of Spiritual Consciousness.

See, we're clarifying it for you here. We need to completely remove from the expression Kundalini all this mystification, everything that is illusory about this simple and natural State of Being, free from the “I,” free from the ego.

Therefore, it is not a so-called spiritual experience, it is not a contact with something mystical or a parallel world or a contact with extraterrestrials. This is about the awareness of the Truth of Being, naturally, free from the ego, free from this sense of duality, of separation.

So, when people ask: “How to attain Spiritual Enlightenment?” and “What is Kundalini?” Note, we're talking about exactly the same thing, as long as it's understood. Otherwise, we'll be on a great journey, in a fantasy produced by thought, having extraphysical or so-called mystical or spiritual experiences and mistaking this for Reality, for the Reality of Being, for the Reality of the absence of suffering, of fear, of desires, of all the complications that thought formulates, creates and sustains within this egoic mind.

So, notice, this is the subject we're addressing here, within this channel. We're talking to you about Advaita, the vision of Advaita Vedanta, the vision of Non-duality, Non-separation, this realization of your Divine Nature, your Essential Nature, the Realization of That Which Is You when we use expressions like Kundalini, like Meditation, like Spiritual Enlightenment or Spiritual Awakening.

Note that we are using expressions that are well known in this environment for those who are searching or looking for something outside of this condition, which is the monotonous, traditional, repetitive, tedious condition that has been the life of the human being in its psychological condition of dissatisfaction, contradiction and, of course, suffering. But we've made these expressions very clear here. We are pointing to the end of the “I,” the end of the ego, the end of this pattern of duality.

In this pattern of duality, you have experiences, then, there is experience happening and you experiencing, storing those experiences and evaluating new experiences from the memory of the old ones. Thus, there is always this movement of separation between the experiencer and the experience. When there is an end to the experiencer, the Reality of what is present is the experiencing of life, without the sense of duality. That is Advaita, that is the Real Awakening of Kundalini.

So, when we use expressions like Real Meditation, we are talking about Meditation in this sense. The awareness of the Real vision of Meditation, of this awareness of Real Consciousness, which is the awareness of this Presence. When this energy, which is Kundalini, which is this Consciousness, begins to operate a change in this organism, in this mechanism, it operates a change in the body, in all these brain mechanics, in the brain cells themselves. This change is a transformation in this mechanism, in this organism. It's just like when you have a computer and you need to format it; it needs to undergo a change, so it's formatted.

Here we are talking about a psychophysical change in this mechanism, in this organism, due to a real, profound process. In this sense, Awakening is something scientific, but it's from an awareness outside the realm of the known. We're talking about changing the whole way of thinking, feeling and acting.

So, we need to go deeper into these issues here, becoming aware of the Truth of who we are. That's why our emphasis here is on the importance of the Truth of Self-Awareness. The importance of Self-Awareness, the Truth about it, as well as the Truth about Meditation. We are making contact with That which is outside the known. Contact with That is the end of the known.

When there is an end to that which is known, such as “I” consciousness, mental consciousness, egoic consciousness, we have the Presence of this True Consciousness, which is Kundalini. Then a Real Intelligence takes over that space, the space of that body and that mind. The Reality of your Being reveals itself as Compassion, Freedom, Wisdom, Truth, Intelligence. So, we are facing Something unknown, Something outside this common model of existence.

The work here consists of making ourselves aware of this whole process, of how this Realization shows itself. This is the end of the “I,” the end of the ego, the end of this egocentric pattern of behavior. Our work here consists of becoming aware of this, right now.

We are living within a condition where the model of life, of common existence, is the model of duality, the model of separation and, therefore, the model of contradiction. So, all the internal frameworks linked to this dissatisfaction, to this incompleteness, to this psychological condition that this sense of the ego has, that this sense of separation carries are present.

Here, we've been working with you on issues such as: how to overcome fear, how to go beyond anxiety, depression, anguish, these various forms of suffering present in human beings; present because of this egoic consciousness, this dual consciousness. So, there's you and God, there's you and life, there's you and the other, there's you and this experience or that experience. In that separation are established fear, contradiction, conflict and suffering.

When we learn the awareness of Self-Awareness, when we discover what it is to look at this instant without the one who looks, which is the “I,” the ego, which is this background that comes from the past, which is the observer, when we learn to look without this, this energy, which is the very energy that was previously wasted by this pattern of duality, of separation, which was previously being wasted within the conflict between, for example, opposing desires, of fear, of worry, of this inner agitation, all of this is present there... The presence of energy in this movement, being wasted.

So, in the sense of the “I,” of the ego, we are always wasting this energy. When there is this Attention now, on the movement of the “I,” of the ego, and we no longer have that which comes from the past, as being the observer, the thinker, who is always in that model of separation, in that model of duality, now, at that instant, that energy becomes available for a change in that structure, in that mechanism, in that organism. This energy is the energy of Kundalini.

Notice that this happens as part of a natural process. When there is, naturally, this willingness to look free of the ego, to perceive free of this illusory center that comes from the past. Thus, this is how the flow, this happening of the Kundalini Awakening takes place. Something that is possible for each of us in this life.

That's our proposal here for you, working here with you. For this purpose, we have online meetings taking place here on weekends. On Saturdays and Sundays, we are available to investigate this with you through questions, answers and this contact with Silence, with the Revelation of Meditation. You can find our WhatsApp link to take part in these meetings here in the video description.

We also have face-to-face meetings and retreats. If what you've just heard is something that makes sense to you, here's an invitation. Go ahead, leave your “like,” subscribe to the channel and say “Yes, it makes sense” in the comments. OK? And see you. Thanks for meeting us and see you next time!
