Fulfillment in desires | Awakening of Consciousness | Mind of ego | End the illusion of the ego

The issue is the fulfillment of desires. There is in the human being this search for fulfillment in desires. Here, the question is: if there was Completeness, Real Satisfaction, in us, would there be some form of seeking? Would there be this walk towards a goal to achieve, as occurs in this search for desires? What do we want to attain in the fulfillment of desires? We are going to work this with you here in the next few minutes: what is really missing that makes us feel internally incomplete and dissatisfied? In fact, here we have the presence of unhappiness. When there is Happiness, when there is Completeness, when there is this totality of being full, there is no unhappiness. And when there is no unhappiness, what place does desire have? Here, I refer to that desire to fulfill yourself internally, psychologically.

So here, we have some things we can look at together. The first is, what is this sense of dissatisfaction, of present unhappiness? – so that we can go forward and beyond it, investigating this thing we actually seek within desires. What is that? What is inside each of us that makes us feel incomplete and therefore unhappy? That is what we have revealed here for you in these meetings. We are working with you on the end of this sufferer, this element in us that carries this weight of incompleteness and unhappiness.

We have an inner dissatisfaction, and no matter how great our achievements or accomplishments are, it is here that we face the frustration of desires. Even when we achieve this or that desire, we are still unhappy, incomplete, and dissatisfied. So, what is it that we need to find out here? We need to discover together how to go beyond this unhappiness, this dissatisfaction, and this incompleteness. Where does this incompleteness reside?

Here we have been telling you, within this channel, that incompleteness is the nature of the mind. This mind is the mind of the “I,” of this sense of someone present, of this person. So, the mind of the “I,” of the person is, by nature and its structure, unhappy. What is this unhappy mind that carries this incompleteness? This mind is a conditioning of culture, the world, and society. Then, here when we refer to that mind, we are referring to that personal mind, which is the mind of the “I,” of the ego. That mind is the one that lives in a projection of achieving something outside of the present moment, and in achieving that goal, that desire, it finds fulfillment.

The truth is that the nature and structure of this mind is one of dissatisfaction and unhappiness. So, nothing can satisfy you, and nothing can make you happy. And here, I am referring to this “I,” this “me,” this “person.” Our work here is to unravel that in terms of revealing the truth of this “I”; in facing what we really are outside of this “I” we identify with, we mistake ourselves. So here, we need to say this to you: you are not looking for a desire for the sake of a desire. You are looking for it so that, in this fulfillment, in this desire, in the fulfilled desire, you may find the happiness you seek. However, as that search is a projection of the mind itself into that incompleteness, that dissatisfaction, whatever that mind in this state projects, is still part of its dissatisfaction, its incompleteness. And whatever it finds may temporarily bring a certain fulfillment, a certain completeness, and satisfaction. But just until the next wish arises. Because the nature – I repeat – and the structure of the own mind is one of dissatisfaction.

So, the mind is never satisfied. It has temporary moments of fulfillment, satisfaction, and achievements. That’s why people say that happiness is something here and now, which you are living, and after a while, it disappears, and you have to keep looking for it. Happiness is not a perfect state. According to them, it is something you need to find at every step you take, expanding that happiness. That is, we are dealing with happiness as we idealize it, as we, in the “I,” the ego, have experienced it as something that comes and goes.

People say: “We do not have happiness; we have happy moments.” That is, outside of these happy moments, we have unhappy moments. That is what we know by happiness. So, our search through desire, in desire, is for that happiness. Contentment we experience for a few moments, until a problem, difficulty, and suffering arise, until a new dissatisfaction appears. And we keep at it.

So, our life is in this pursuit of desire, satisfaction, fulfillment, and achievement. What is it that is in this movement? It is the presence of the “I,” of the ego, of the mind. That is what is in this movement. We make this movement because of cultural conditioning. We have emotional conditioning, psychological conditioning, and physical behavior conditioning, in this search for this or that achievement.

I invite you to a vision of the Truth about your Being. Then, you will discover the Real Nature of the Truth of your Being. The Truth, the Reality of your Being, is essentially Love, Peace, Freedom, and Happiness. That Happiness is the Completeness of Being. We do not know that. We can theorize about it; however, we never come into direct contact with this Reality. We can experience this directly when we are out of that old condition, which is the condition of the egoic mind, the mind of this “I,” in this incompleteness, this dissatisfaction.

So, here we have a completely different relationship with desire. We are not accusing desire, not picturing desire as something wrong that becomes, for us, the cause of more conflict and suffering. Desire indeed has a particular place, but how we have been dealing with it, in this search for it, in this search for external fulfillment in objects, in professional, emotional, intellectual achievements, at different levels of our lives, in this search for desire, in this format that we are dealing with it, there is always one or another form of conflict within it. Within it there is always one form of suffering or another. Then, this search for desire also becomes an element of internal contradiction, fomenting psychological pain and suffering at some level in our lives.

So, we need to inquire into the nature of the “I,” the ego, the mind, of this egoic mind. Thus, we come into direct contact with the illusion of that fulfillment of desires for happiness, for completeness. Here on this channel, we are working with you to end the illusion of the “I,” the illusion of the ego. That is the end of incompleteness and dissatisfaction. And therefore, the end of this conflict created by desires. It is not accomplishing or achieving something externally, outside, but rather, becoming aware of the Truth of your Being. That is not something for the future, 20 minutes, 2 years, or 20 years from now. The fulfillment of desires is something that takes place in time. We need to envision, program, visualize, and work in this or that direction, which requires time.

Here, the work on yourself is the acknowledgment of the Nature of Being, which is this Plenitude, this Happiness. That is something present now, does not require time, does not require this attempt to leave this place and go towards another. So, in our meeting here, our proposal is for you to investigate the Truth about who we are, this movement, this thing that moves in time. What is in motion in time is the movement of thought itself. This movement conditioned, programmed to idealize completeness in the fulfillment of desires, is the movement of the ego, of that ego-identity.

To become aware of the truth of what is here showing itself as this movement; aware of the movement of thought, of the truth of what is happening here. The entire game that thought, in its move, has created within each one of us, creating the illusion of someone present, who is this “me,” this “I,” this thinker, with this or that other objective, in this or that search – which represents a movement of psychological time, the time created by thought itself, where thought says that when accomplished, you will be happy. Who is this “you”? This “you” is the thinker itself. The thinker who is separating from that thought and creating that ideal, that objective, that aim, that purpose. There is no separation between the thinker and the thought, between the desire and the “I.”

So, here is where we have the whole problem. The sense of an “I” present, a thinker, lies in this conflict, this contradiction, this separateness. It has not, but it desires to have; it has not achieved it, but it wants to, and that takes time, effort, hard work, and commitment. And in that involvement, application, and struggle, the conflict is naturally present. There is, of course, dissatisfaction itself. So, this dissatisfaction, this incompleteness, is not due to the absence of desire, the desired object, but the incompleteness, the dissatisfaction, is the presence of the conflict itself, the desire itself, the projection of an “I” present in this image, in that thought, in that imagination.

So, we now have a conflict of desire. Notice that when you want something, you are already suffering for it. The own desire is a form of suffering, and it is now clear why it is like that – because that is a sign of restlessness, conflict, and separation between that “I” and the desired object. In this quest for fulfillment, completeness, for satisfaction in desire, what is present is the dissatisfaction and incompleteness itself creating this condition. It is a projection of the own restlessness and incompleteness; it is a projection of the “I” itself, which is unhappiness.

The Truth of your Being, the Divine Truth, is here and now as this Completeness. It is present precisely in the absence of the desire. Without desire, there is no “I” element, thinker, ego, or desire; therefore, no conflict, incompleteness, or dissatisfaction. So, notice the importance and beauty of this real contact with desire. See the importance of understanding the Truth of this absence of the “I,” of the thinker, of that movement towards the future that thought creates and provokes within each of us.

The Truth of your Being is Happiness, Love, Freedom, and Wholeness now. There is no dissatisfaction in It, in this Happiness, in this Being you are. Approaching this is possible when you observe the movement of the “I,” when you become aware of this mechanism that thought engenders and creates. Over millennia, it built this mechanism of search, achievement, fulfillment, satisfaction, and completeness called “desire.” And it lives in this quest for millennia. So, that has been our behavior because that has been our conditioning. From a young age, we are educated in this direction, in the idea that something will fulfill us, complete us, and make us happy. The truth about the ego is that it lives in this dissatisfaction, this incompleteness, and it will never be happy because that is the nature of the egoic mind.

So, the work of Self-Awareness puts you in contact with the recognition of that element that is the “I,” which is always projecting itself to be happy in some target, in some objective, in some purpose, and always implicit within that purpose is this movement in time. Then, psychologically, we always live in time: “I am not happy, but I will be.” Or: “I do not have complete happiness, but one day I will.” Thought in us always moves in that time. Thus, we have an idea of this “I” present now, which is an “I” that came from the past, went through everything it went through, and now is moving towards a better future. No matter how good this future is for this “I,” this incompleteness, this dissatisfaction will still be there. Because it is the structure – I repeat – and the nature of the ego itself to live in that sense of separateness and, therefore, of conflict.

So, nothing can make you happy as long as the sense of “I” is present, as long as the projection of happiness in a desire, in fulfillment, in something to achieve is present. Then, our job is to look at what we are here and now and thereby there can be an end to this psychological conditioning, to this movement of “I am, but I'm not whole; I will be whole tomorrow.” This movement of becoming, coming to be, reaching, achieving to be complete, full, happy, all that disappears when there is an end to this conditioning. Because it is a conditioning of feeling or emotion, it is a psychological conditioning present. That is the structure and nature of the ego, the “I.” Self-Awareness puts you in a perception of this movement. Thus, this duality that is this “I” and desire, this “I” and this fulfillment, this “I” and this future; that’s duality.

Duality is the element that sustains this condition of separateness, conflict, contradiction, and desire. A crucial aspect in this matter is the element of “fear” present. The search for satisfaction, achievement, and fulfillment because of this dissatisfaction is present because there is fear. Within an approach to yourself, looking at this very movement which is the movement of the ego, projecting itself into this perception, there is Consciousness. In this Consciousness, the end for that “I,” that ego, takes place. That is the end of suffering, conflict, and contradiction.

Thus, something needs to be clearly understood here by you: an approach to the Truth about your own Being is the end of the conflict created by desires. That is the end of this search for satisfaction, fullness, and plenitude, externally, from the outside. That is possible when you approach and learn to look at this present duality, at this thinker projecting thoughts, at this desirer projecting its desires, at this “I” seeking completeness in the “no I.” That is the end of duality. Naturally, that is the end of the conflict.

Notice that this conflict, this duality, implies a very classic form of fear: there is the fear of not achieving, of not conquering, there is the fear of not obtaining. All this sustains suffering in us. In this quest for desire, we also carry this side. The other side of desire is, of course, fear. And when we look at it, observe it in ourselves, investigate it, approach ourselves through Self-Awareness – and here we touch on the essential issue of Meditation. Meditation is this contact with the Truth of your Being through Self-awareness. When True Meditation takes place, when it blossoms, when this Divine Truth of your Being reveals itself – that is the end of this psychological condition of contradiction, conflict, suffering, fear, and desire.

The Truth of your Being is Unspeakable, Indescribable. This is the contact with Happiness, Completeness, Satisfaction, Realization, and the Truth of God. Some people call it “the Awakening of Consciousness.” It is Spiritual Enlightenment, the Vision of God, the Realization of God. There are many names for this Natural State of Being, where Truth flourishes, expresses Itself, and is present here and now. That is our subject here with you, within this channel.

If this makes sense to you, so go ahead and write it in the comment: “Yes, it makes sense.” Leave your “like,” subscribe to the channel, and I want to remind you that we have online meetings. In the video description, we have our WhatsApp link for these meetings, which happen on the weekends. In addition, we have face-to-face meetings and retreats. Ok? Here is the invitation and see you.
