Alright! After all, why are we here? What do these meetings represent here on our channel? We have only one purpose here in these meetings: to show you the illusion of an identity present, the identity of the “I,” this “me,” this “person.”
Notice what we are going to put here for you now. Our pattern, our belief system, and our model of asserting ourselves in life are based on a central idea: the idea that we exist as separate entities, with our choices, resolutions, desires, fears... problems!
The sense of someone present – someone speaking here and you, as someone, listening, someone who speaks and someone who listens, someone who feels, thinks, resolves, decides, someone who can or cannot do – is based on an entirely false basis. This body and mind react to the environment, to various external and internal stimuli. This is an automatic, mechanical reaction; this is a response from this organism, this biological and psychological mechanism.
We don't know the Truth about who we are. We identify with this movement, which is the movement of body and mind. After all, what is the Truth about who we are? Who am I?
The purpose of these meetings here is to show you the illusion of this belief: the belief in the existence of an “I” present here and now, in this experience, thinking, feeling, acting, speaking, moving, doing, undoing, not doing or doing things.
Our relationships with each other are conflicted and full of problems, because, basically, we live internally with problems. We have several psychological problems. These psychological problems within us are worshiped and cultivated as the most natural thing in life. However, this is a conditioning, a model of belief. We’ve gotten used to it.
So, we have these problems within ourselves, internally, and the problem is reflected externally in our relationships. All this because, basically, we don’t know ourselves, we are identified with the central idea, which is the idea of a present “I,” someone present in life, who was born, grew up, reached adulthood, relates to people around you, to the world, within that model, that condition. This is a dream.
At night, when you have a dream, you are very sure of everything happening in the dream. You take all that’s happening there for something very right, very true, something very real; that’s pretty sure, it’s something definitive, within that vision while you dream. Whatever is happening in the dream, you hardly question, not even absurd things, like you are walking and suddenly start flying. You don't question how this becomes possible, how this is possible. And yet, when you wake up, you realize that everything you've lived through, everything you've experienced was part of what thought was producing within you. It was a dream!
Our work here together is to show you the illusion of an identity present in this dream. Just as at night there was an identity present, a person present in your world – there was he or she who was you, and the surrounding world, the world around you… Now, when you wake up, you realize that you were an image just like the world around you was an image. Your dream was as real as a picture, like…as real as a movie. Now, you can recognize that you were within imagination; this was your dream, your world. This is how your dream world unfolds.
What I want to tell you is that this world here, where there’s a central figure, this “I,” with a world around it, is being processed in the exact same way! Those who have realized the Truth perceive that this is all just a dream. Then, you have this dream in the vigil state, here, at this moment, that you believe you're awake and believe all of this is real.
Notice, this belief is a movement, not of Consciousness, of certainty of Consciousness, but of psychological conviction, mental belief. The same happens in the dream state. So, your vigil reality and your dream reality are nothing but a production of thought. This is your world where your story is. The question is: who am I? When there is no such story, who am I? What is this “I” without this story: the vigil state story or the dream state story?
We also experience deep sleep, and in it, there’s no story, no world, no “I,” and no identity present. My proposal is for you to investigate the ephemeral, fanciful, imaginative, imaginary, illusory nature of this “I.” Ramana Maharshi, the Sage of Arunachala… Those who approached him were always faced with a question to ask themselves. Ramana gave them this question. The question is: who am I? What is the truth about you?
Why is this essential in our lives? Because our lives, in a relationship with the world, as I’ve just said, without the true basis, which is the Truth about who we are… This relationship with the world is a relationship of contradiction, conflict, and suffering.
All that internal confusion of the egoic mind, this mental consciousness present inside us, is expressed externally in our relationships with the husband, wife, children, family, neighbors... and this extends to our neighborhood, city, country, and world.
Notice, the expression “our” is something connected to the idea of someone present who has something. Our entire human language is configured on a base where we uphold a belief: the belief of individuality, which is an illusion. We are not individuals, biologically, physically, and psychologically. We seem to have individuality; we seem to be individuals.
Looking more precisely, there’s no separation, neither biologically nor psychologically. Psychologically, we are the result of collectivity, society, the world, culture, tradition, and human history. So, this individuality doesn’t exist, this individuality is an illusion, psychologically speaking. And, biologically speaking, everything you have in your body… You are a composite of earth, water, air, and fire. Then, where is the individual? We continue with the question: who am I?
This set of beliefs upholds suffering. Actually, all the suffering in us is present because of a mistaken view of the Truth about who we are.
Without the body, the mind, and story, who are you? The revelation of this is What the Sages have called Spiritual Enlightenment, Kundalini Awakening, or the Awakening of Consciousness.
The word Kundalini means Consciousness. Kundalini is this Energy available here in this body. We've been talking about it here on the channel. We have a playlist about Kundalini Awakening, this present Energy, available for the Awakening of Consciousness in us. And it is when this Consciousness Awakens that the vigil, the dream, and the deep sleep state are seen, in fact, as what they are: an appearance within this Intelligence, this Presence, this Divine Reality, which is You in your Real Being, which is Consciousness.
The Truth of What You Are: this is what we are talking about here on our channel. We are clarifying, making clear the possibility for you to recognize yourself in this lifetime as What is timeless, which is not in time, not within this limitation of a separate identity, living in conflict in relationships, relationships which are projections of illusion itself – here, I refer to this egoic mind creating its own model of relationships with others, life and the world.
The approach to this occurs because of the truth about Self-Awareness. Thus, here we deal with you about the beauty of Self-Awareness. We also have a playlist, here on the channel, talking about Self-Awareness. This is something very close to the True Practice of Living in Meditation. Living in Meditation is what I have called the True Practical Meditation. So, we have a playlist here on the channel about it.
Thus, our job is to look at this, to approach this, to become aware of the Truth we are, and to assume This here and now. Then, you realize Happiness, Love, Peace, that Fullness of Being What you were born to Be, which is You in your Being, the Reality of God.
If this is something that makes sense to you, leave your “like,” and subscribe to the channel… Reminder: this is what we are working on together; hence, we also have online and face-to-face meetings. You’ll find our WhatsApp in the description of the video. Ok?
Thanks for the meeting and see you next time.
