After all, what are we proposing within these meetings? We are offering you the opportunity of Awakening of Consciousness. Awakening of Consciousness is the Awakening of your Real Identity. Yes, of your Real Identity. You are not who you believe you are. This is a statement that can sound different to you: it can have a philosophical sense, a spiritual sense, it can have a mystical sense; but I want you to look closely at this and make no special sense of what we are saying here. We are just telling you this simply: you are not who you believe you are. If you keep it very simple, as we are putting it, you will soon ask a second question. The first will be: “Then, who am I?” That will be the first basic question – “Then, who am I? Since I'm not me, who am I?” And after that basic question, a second fundamental question will come up, and that question is, “What do you mean?” Maybe that was your first question – “What do you mean?” And the second question was, “Then, who am I?” – no matter the order.
We are here proposing that you investigate this and find out, at this moment in your life. You came across this video, or you already came across this channel and you are already working on it here. This is a moment in your life of self-discovery, of self-discovery, of understanding the Truth about who you are. This vision of oneself, this vision of yourself is something that is fundamental. It is something that each one of us needs greatly and urgently. Until there is this comprehension of the Truth about who we are, there will be no Love, there will be no Peace, there will be no Freedom, there will be no Happiness, there will be no God Consciousness. Belief in God, belief in peace, belief in love, belief in happiness, or the various forms of beliefs, are just beliefs.
Here I want to get down to the facts with you, the fact of Truth about who you are, give you the fact of Truth about who God is, the fact of Truth of what Love, Happiness and Peace is. And only that, only that is Real. No belief, no concept, no theory, none of that can be Real. In life, we deal with what is real; what is real is what turns out to be the facts. We don't live on abstractions. The human being has lived on abstractions, he talks about God as if he knew him, he talks about love as if he knew what love is, happiness as if he knew what happiness is. In thought, happiness is a house, a car, a wedding, the birth of the first child, a professional achievement or training and graduation in some course.
So, at that moment, you do have a moment of fulfillment, of satisfaction. So, for a few seconds or for a few minutes, or it could even last for a few days, that state of euphoria, of circumstantial joy, because of something external that is happening, at that moment, for a while, you are the happiest person in the world, but that lasts for a while and fades away, and disappears. Then, that joy, that euphoria, which you call happiness, due to that accomplishment, diminishes, cools down, reaches a sharp, intense point and then cools down, diminishes and dissolves. The happiness is gone, because, in fact, it was an external situation, circumstantial, of fulfillment, of pleasure for this “me,” for this “I,” for this person with whom you are confused and believe to be
Here the inquiry “Who am I?” or “What do you mean?” that’s what matters to us. Asking “But what do you mean?”, “How is that?” or “Who am I?”, because only that Realization puts you in direct contact with that fact, with the fact of the Reality of your Nature, which is Bliss. Those who have realized This, those who have realized God, who are living This, that fact which is God, that fact which is Reality, that fact which is the end of this illusion of an “I” present in experience, the end of the ego, they tell us, they tell us clearly that the Nature of the Truth about who we are is already Happiness. You don't have to get divorced to be happy and get married again; no need to get married, no need to have children, you don't have to be healthy to be happy. The issue of the body is one thing, the issue of Reality of your Being, your Real Nature, is quite another thing. The realization of your Real Nature is Bliss, independent of the body, independent of the mind, independent of external situations, including achievements, in this or that area.
That’s what we're working on here with you. So, those who have become directly aware of this, who are living this fact of the Reality of God, say that the fact of the Reality of God is the fact of this Reality of Love, Peace, Freedom, and Happiness. The problem with us is that we live within such a psychological complexity that thought itself, which is the basis of all imagination, never has any interest or ability to know what that represents. It is exactly when thought ends, when it ends, when it ceases, that this Revelation shows itself, that Truth shows itself – this Truth, which is this Consciousness, which is this Reality of Love, of Bliss, of God.
So, the emptying of all this psychological content, what I have just called “cessation of thought,” when it ceases, when there is a cessation of thought, when it finishes, when it ends, when this movement no longer has this continuity, this sense of a present “I,” this imaginary “I,” this imaginary “me,” this ego, this imaginary person, disappears. You are what you Are, that’s a fact, it’s not an abstraction.
The “person” is an abstraction. When you say “I,” you are referring to an abstraction; when you tell a story about that “I,” it is a story, it is an abstraction, it is a set of remembrances, of memories, of concepts about an identity that is an abstraction. The abstraction is a set of concepts, of images, remembrances, and memories; this is all abstraction, it refers to the body as this “I.” So, when you refer to this “I” being the body, this body is always being renewed, cells are dying and cells are arising. “Your” body is being renewed; from one day to the next “your” body is another body; every half hour, every ten minutes, new cells appear, others disappear. This is the process of life in this organism, in this mechanism, in this body. And then you use the expression “I” as if there is an “I,” an identity present, here and now, immutable, being that body, referring to that body, that form.
Notice what we are putting here for you: life is something that is happening, but there isn’t that “I.” That “I” is an abstraction, the “I” is the body, but what body, if that body is something that is changing from moment to moment? The “I,” this mind, but what mind? At every moment a thought arises, a story arises, a memory arises, and that memory gives an identity to “someone,” places “someone” having an identity. It’s just a memory, it’s thoughts, it’s images, it’s memories. Something coming from the past as memory is just memory. There is no identity present in memory. This abstraction, this “I,” this “me”, is projected in time as “someone” coming from the past, living this present moment, being this body, having this mind, and projecting himself into the future. We are dealing with an abstraction, with an idea, with a belief. I want the Truth about who you are. What is This that we are? Note: this is the psychological complexity in us, the illusion of a present identity. There is no such identity. The revelation of the Truth of your Being, the revelation of the Truth of God, of your Essential Nature, is the Truth about who you are.
The good news here is that with this revelation of the Truth about who you are, you are Consciousness itself present, beyond the body, beyond the mind, beyond all this story, beyond all this abstraction. The Reality of your Being, here and now, present in this listening, in this speaking, in this feeling, in this living, in this Love, in this Peace, in this Freedom, in this Consciousness that is God, that is Bliss.
The birth or appearance of this form, this body, the sole purpose of this appearance, which we call birth, is to realize the Reality of That which Is, here and now, which is beyond time, beyond space, beyond name, beyond forms, beyond all change. The Truth of What you Are, is the Truth of all Manifestation. Such a life is a life free from the sense of a separate “I,” demanding, asking, expecting, seeking, wanting something to be happy, for fulfillment. The Reality of this quality of life is that it is Life in Itself, without the sense of separation. That which is present is Love, Truth; That which is present is the only Reality, apart from birth and death. Realizing This or assuming this Realization is all that matters in this life.
This is our work, this is our objective here, this is the only thing we are proposing to you within this channel, in addition to online meetings, face-to-face meetings and also retreats, where we are working with those who approach us.
If this is something that makes sense to you, touches you at some point there, if at some level it touches you, leave your “like” and subscribe to the channel. I want to invite you to online meetings, face-to-face meetings and also retreats, where we are working on this together. OK?
Thanks for the meeting an see you at the next one!
