Egocentric action. Self-awareness: action free of the ego. How does thought work? Truth of action.

Here in this work, we invite you to take action on a quality, a nature, and a reality different from everything we know. In general, our actions are occurring, happening, centered on this “I,” this ego. This type of action in our lives produces contradictions, problems, dilemmas, difficulties, and conflicts. If your interest here, is to discover the Truth of action, which implies action free from the “I,” the ego, we need to investigate this.

It is quite ordinary this people's search for God. So, there is a search for God, for the Truth, but they do not understand that the Truth is found at this instant, at this moment. Without action free from the ego, there is no Revelation of Truth. The point here is to investigate what is the Real nature, what is the true structure of this action of each of us, an action that no longer produces suffering or conflict; an action free, and therefore, free from the ego. What is this action?

Here, we explain to you the importance of free action. Action free of the ego is free from intention, motivation, the proposal of concepts, ideas, and personal motives. Will this action be possible? Or are we condemned to a life of action always trapped within this pattern of egocentrism – which, actually, represents a life of mere egoic activity?

So, we are here inviting you, pointing out, signaling to you the Truth of the Revelation of What we are, the Revelation of our own Being. This Being reveals itself in action, in the action free of ideas. Notice how important this investigation is; notice how interesting it is for us to study this matter of action. All our actions arise from an objective, a purpose; we have a goal. First, we have an idea, objective, purpose, and intention, and we take action. This action, which arises from the idea, of this purpose, is the action we know. This action is egocentric and centered on the ” I.”

And why is it so crucial for us to investigate it together? Because, you see, your life is a life based on action. Everything in our lives is action. We are taking action all the time. It is not only in our physical behavior but also in our inner intentions. Ideas constitute actions. The thought movement in us is an action movement. Speaking is an action, gesturing is an action, and listening is an action. Everything in our lives consists of actions: happening, occurring, and being taken.

The point here is that when these actions are born out of ideas, they already carry the seed of conflict, dilemma, problem, and difficulty. We do not realize that our actions need to be taken from this space, which is the space of real Intelligence in us. This space in us of Real Intelligence, of true Intelligence, is the space of Silence. This Silence is the Truth of Comprehension. When there is Comprehension, there is an action taking place. It is not an action based on ideas but on Intelligence. When there is Intelligence, there is Freedom. In this Freedom, as this Freedom is the fruit of this Comprehension, this Comprehension is born from this Silence, and in this Silence is Truth.

Perhaps all this sounds a little strange because all of us, in general, the actions we know are thought-centered; therefore, centered on ideas and motivation. Our actions are born of desire and also as an impulse to escape from something, which is fear. Therefore actions in us come from desire, from fear, and they originate in a purely personal purpose of ideas, of pre-formed concepts, pre-established in us.

The point here is that we do not investigate the nature of the thought. That thought limits us to a condition of action controlled by desire, fear, and our personal motives and reasons; these personal reasons are egocentric. Thus, our action based on the idea and the thought, is a limited and, therefore, conflicting action. This action, once it is Real, once it is happening right now, based on this Comprehension, this Real Intelligence...

Notice, we do not know what thought is. We do not perceive the limitation this model of action implies, so we do not know what this action is either and how much thought is limiting this action. In general, we ask questions like: “How do I act under pressure?” or “How do I do the right thing?” Why are we worried? We have this concern because we feel the urgent need to take action with Intelligence, Truth, and Wisdom. So, let's calmly take a look at this here.

Here in this channel, we are investigating the Truth about who we are and what an action represents, therefore, free from the illusion of that center which is the ego, the “I,” that thinker as we believe it to be, that doer of actions as we believe it to be. Comprehension of the Truth of action about ourselves, this approach to what goes on inside each of us, how we function, how thought functions, clarity about what thought is, how it works and the limitation it represents, this is something fundamental because it is something that frees us from this quality of ego-centered action. This egocentric action is the one that is producing problems, that will never get it right, that will never attend to the present moment.

We live as anxious, stressed, distressed, worried, afflicted, doubtful creatures, wanting to get it right and taking actions based on thought, without comprehension of what thought is. It is clear that as long as we are acting in this anxiety, this anguish, this worry, as long as we act from a mind that is worried, anxious, stressed, doubtful, and loaded with desires and fears, our actions will be actions that will produce exactly that, because they are born from this internal state of confusion. The point is that all of this is based on this psychological condition, on this program model that I've been calling psychological conditioning, which is this thought model. So, we have to investigate the nature of thought.

First of all, ideas are present in us. These ideas are the result of the knowledge acquired over the years – all the information, propaganda, and ideas present in our parents, ancestors, within our culture. The model of action based on thought is based on experience. The question is: what is this experience stored in us? It is the result of memory. So, our actions are always driven by these ideas, these standards.

As long as there is no Silence, Clarity, Comprehension and Freedom internally, in our mind, in our heart, as long as this brain in us doesn't comprehend the Truth of Quietude, of Silence, as long as this comprehension isn't present, attending to this instant, this moment, this is something that requires action but as long as this is not solved internally, we are attending to this instant, this moment, this action, based on this experience – this past experience. In that experiencer is that past experience.

What is the truth of this experiencer? What is the truth of this “I,” this “I am,” this “me”? What is the truth about this thinker? Our actions are born from this thinker. Here, the question is: what is this thinker who thinks and takes action?

Notice that what we always have in mind is thought arising. There is a purpose, a motive, and an intention regarding this thought, and based on this intention, this action arises. Then notice: there is an interval between that thinker and that action, and that interval is that purpose. So, this action, a private action, is centered on the “I.” All this may sound very reasonable. From a technical point of view, we need knowledge and information, but this elaboration of thought is something very natural.

The brain has recorded knowledge, experience, and how to act. For example, to drive a car – knowledge, experience, and elaboration of thought are necessary, but this happens very naturally. So, this technical information, knowledge, experience, and memory is important. Then, the action takes place in a very natural way. Driving a car does not require the presence of a sense of identity separate from the experience itself, as in the case of this ego.

The sense of the ego present is the one that is action based on thought, also based on past information, on past experience, but acting from this sense of duality. For example, in this contact with you, I see you from an idea that I have about who you are. So, my action is born out of this illusory, psychological separateness based on thought, on an image: the image I have of you, the image you have of me. So, our relationships are happening because of these actions taking place, but they are ego-centered actions; they are egocentric actions.

Thus, our life in this model of action, which is action from this ego, from this center, from this “I” separating itself from the other, from life, from situations, is a self-centered, egocentric action. Therefore, there is no Divine Truth, no Truth of God, no Intelligence, no Wisdom, and no Comprehension. We use expressions like “love,” “peace,” “freedom,” and “happiness.”

There is an urgent need, indeed, for Happiness, Peace, and Love in our relationships and, therefore, in our actions, and this is something that becomes impossible when that action is not born of this Comprehension, this Intelligence, is not born from this Truth of Silence. When it is born of this ego, we have an action that starts with the idea, the plan, and then the action, so there is always the author of the action present, the doer, which is the ego, the “I.” Are you with me?

Our work here consists of going beyond this ego, beyond this “I” and therefore beyond this egocentric action; the action free from the thinker, from the experimenter, this sense of an “I” with all the images it has about who the other is, about what life is, about who it is itself. Notice how interesting this is: every idea you have about yourself is an image, what you have about others is an image, what you have about life is an image, and what you have about situations are images created and sustained by thought.

Real action in life, I repeat this, life consists of actions taking place; they take place when the sense of “I,” the ego, is not there, within a new way of acting, moving, speaking, feeling, dealing with others, with ourselves, without this center that is the “I,” the ego. That is the truth of action. Based on the Revelation of Self-Awareness, of the knowledge of the Truth of your Being, something new emerges. This Something new is action free from the ego. Some call it the Realization of God, Spiritual Enlightenment, and the Comprehension of Divine Truth.

For this purpose, we have meetings here on weekends – our online meetings. You can find our WhatsApp link for participating in these meetings on video description. We also have face-to-face meetings and retreats. If what you're hearing is something that makes sense to you, please leave a like here and subscribe to the channel, OK? And see you.
