Enlightenment, Realization of God | Psychological complexity | Psychological suffering | Non-Duality

Here on this channel, we work with you to end the illusion of the sense of identity present at this instant, this moment. This is what some call the Awakening of Consciousness or Spiritual Enlightenment. Therefore, we need to understand what happens to us in these contacts, whether with objects, places, or people. This contact has to be investigated. Notice that this may sound a little strange to those who suddenly “parachuted” into this canal. After all, what are we talking about here?

“See, you’ve just said that there’s no “I” present in the experience, what is that? After all, what are you telling us?” This is the subject we explore on the channel. People use expressions like Spiritual Enlightenment, Awakening of the Self, the Awakening of Truth, or Realization of God, but they don't understand; they have just ideas, beliefs, and concepts about it.

The truth about this is the end of the illusion of identity present here, at this moment, in this experience, separating itself from Life and everything around. This identity works as a center around which the world is happening, so there’s this perception of objects, places, and people, and this is always seen within this principle of separateness, where there is this “I” present and the world around this “I.”

Thus, the sense of “I” is an illusion, because the only Reality present in this experience is the Reality of God or Real Consciousness. We have various names for this Present Reality; we’ve given it various names: Truth, Consciousness, Non-Separateness, or Non-Duality. Here it’s about the Reality of your Being, your Real Identity, your Divine Nature. So, this approach we have here within the channel, working on this matter of Self-Awareness, of the perception of Reality, the Truth of our Being, which some people call Enlightenment, is what we are dedicated to working together here on the channel.

What is the truth of this “I”? We see ourselves as a person present within this experience of perceiving the world. So, in front of that tree, that chair, or that person, this space between the tree, the chair, or the person and “I”, a space is created by a belief, an idea, the idea that I’m here separate from the world around me, being “someone.” From the psychological viewpoint, this is exactly what happens – not from the viewpoint of Reality. Everything present here within this experience of living, moment by moment, no matter what is present, be it a tree, a chair, a person, or whatever appears around you – when I say around you, I mean around this body-mind, this mechanism, this organism – it’s part of a single present Reality, it’s life as it shows itself, life as it presents itself. Then, from the viewpoint of life, there’s no separateness, no division.

Separateness is apparent in colors, names, and shapes, but the truth is that everything is interconnected; everything is one unique Reality present, the Reality of Being, of God, of Consciousness. So, it’s always from the psychological viewpoint that this division, separateness or multiplicity is seen. In this multiplicity, division, and separateness, we have, psychologically, internally, within each one of us, the burden of contradiction, conflict, pain, and suffering. This is because we see ourselves as separate entities building a world, accomplishing things, achieving personal, particular goals, centered on this “I.” This “I” separating itself from life, from existence, is constantly producing conflict and suffering.

Life free from this sense of “I” within that experience – what some people call Spiritual Enlightenment, Spiritual Awakening – is the Realization of your Being, the Realization of God. So, together we need to realize the beauty of Self-Awareness, to know ourselves, to know the Truth about who we are or what we believe we are in this instant, this present moment, in life.

Looking at what is happening here and now, psychologically, and internally, makes us realize that the perception we have is not simple, not direct, not objective; it is complex, not simple, and subjective. We don’t have a direct perception of what is shown at this moment, we are not left with just the perception of the senses. When we look at a tree, maybe it’s much simpler when we don't have any botanical knowledge, any idea, any knowledge about that tree; it’s possible just to look at the tree, at its shape, its branches, its leaves, the design it forms, its shape, it’s possible just to look without an idea; but when we have some knowledge, we immediately project the knowledge we have onto this tree. When we do this, we are reacting psychologically, internally, to this experience of looking, of “seeing the tree.” This psychological reaction is the basis of this psychological being with which we mistake ourselves for, which we believe ourselves to be. It’s the same with a chair: when we look at a chair, we don't get a visual perception, an aesthetic perception of its lines, its shape. We project ourselves sitting in the chair or internally evaluate how it would feel to be sitting there; when we do this, if there’s this reaction, this internal conditioning alters the perception, it’s no longer a simple, direct, objective perception.

When we deal with people, we do the same. We judge, evaluate, we fit them into an idea, a belief, or an opinion. Thus, this way of getting closer to the perception of the world, of life, of whatever is emerging here, at that instant, that moment, is something that needs to be investigated. Thus, Self-Awareness is the way we have to get closer to ourselves – here I refer to psychologically looking at what’s going on, every thought, feeling, and emotion which is a reaction.

I've been talking about the importance of getting closer to oneself, watching this movement of reaction. To observe this movement of reaction is to have an approach to this perception, to perceive what we are doing with this perception within this life experience, within this experience of the world. Either this perception is complex and distorted, because it’s based on this psychological reaction, or it’s simple and natural. If it’s complex, the way we approach the world around us is based on that background that is the “I,” the ego, that illusory center, that identity with which we mistake ourselves for. It [complex perception] separates itself from experience, from the object. This way of perceiving the world is the wrong way of seeing oneself, of perceiving oneself in life. This is what explains all the contradictions, dilemmas, disorders, and suffering in our lives.

We don't have a way of getting closer within a very simple, direct perception, without the reactive element that is the “I,” the ego, which is based on this knowledge, these thoughts, these feelings, this “I like this” or “I don't like it” – this “like” and “dislike.” So, we are always evaluating, comparing, judging, and distorting the reality of experience when we place ourselves within it as the center of that experience, reacting, and responding psychologically to something simple and natural, which is that moment. Is it alright?

There’s a way to approach this moment within this experience in contact with this object, in this place, with this place, with this person, there’s a way to approach this without this element, which is the “I” element, ego, this element “me.” Then, Self-Awareness is the way we have here to approach ourselves by looking, just observing what thought, feeling, and emotion are saying within this experience, what this represents, what this means for this “me,” for this “I.” A life free from that sense of “I,” that sense of ego, a life free, without comparison, judgment, knowledge, opinion, or idea, without the sense of “someone” present, is a life free from suffering.

So, there are two ways to approach this perceiving: (1) in a direct, simple natural way, without the “me” element, and that’s the Real perceiving of what IS, what is here, what this tree is, what this chair is, or what this person is – everything is what IS, the tree, the chair or the person, each thing is as it IS – we approach, and this approach is in this simple and natural perception, without concept, belief, idea, prejudgment, and, therefore, without separateness, because the sense of “I” is not there; (2) or we approach through this “I,” this psychological complexity and, therefore, with this entire background, which has become the cause of all the psychological suffering in our lives.

What we are doing on this channel is showing you that a life free from the “I,” the ego, from that illusory element, that false center that is the ego, is possible. Yes, the ego is a false center, that false center sustaining separateness, division, and, therefore, every form of contradiction. Every form of psychological unhappiness in human beings, anxiety, depression, fear, anguish, envy, jealousy, all of this is part of how the “I,” that false center that is the ego has behaved in this life. Therefore, the observation of the movement of the “I,” of the ego, through Self-awareness, is the end for this illusion.

Thus, the relationship between the perception of what IS, of Life as it shows itself, without the “I” element, the ego element, and the Self-Awareness is something essential and fundamental. It’s when Something entirely new is revealed in your life, which is the Presence of your Natural State of Pure Consciousness. This Pure Consciousness is not that “I” consciousness, it’s not this egoic consciousness, so it’s not that mental consciousness, which distorts, alters, and reacts to whatever is appearing within that experience. This Real Consciousness, this Divine Consciousness – I‘ve called Being-Consciousness-Bliss – is the Nature of God, here and now, when the “I” is not present.

Thus, our subject on this channel is to work with you and show that it’s possible to end the false center – the ego – the end of this sense of separateness – the duality – this relationship between “I and the other,” “I and nature” – the tree, the birds, the animals, life – or “I and the objects,” like that chair, the table, any furniture, every inanimate object around you. The sense of a center around which things revolve disappears. Here I mean psychologically: the tree is there and you are here physically, but there’s no psychological separateness because there’s not this “me” element, the “I,” the illusion of a present identity separating and, therefore, coming into contradiction, conflict, struggle, and suffering.

You don't want to change the world, to change life, to change the other; therefore, there is no stress, no anxiety, no fear. If that false center – the ego – is not present, there’s no longer any form of psychological suffering, any distortion. That’s the way of perceiving or Real perceiving. That Real perception or Real perceiving is present when the “I” is not there, so it’s possible to see, hear, feel, and live. In this living, there’s only life; in this “feel,” there’s only feeling, there’s no “someone” in this; in this “listen,” there’s only listening, there’s no “someone” in it; in that “see,” there’s only seeing, there’s no “someone” in it. Thus, all illusion of the “I” is gone; all illusion of separateness is gone. Life reveals itself; it shows itself in this totality, in this beauty, in this uniqueness, then What now prevails at this instant is the presence of Truth, Love, Peace, and Happiness.

The Realization of God is the Realization of your Being. It’s not you realizing This, it’s your Being finding itself to be the only Reality present, your Being realizing the Reality that It is, here and now. That Reality is the Reality of God, at that end of the “I,” the end of the sense of an ego-identity.

It’s something important to understand that this ego-identity or this egoic identity, this false center – the ego – is only made up of remembrances, memories, ideas, concepts, imaginations, all forms of knowledge and experience that have given a format to this illusory sense, of an identity that is constantly judging, evaluating, liking, disliking, accepting and rejecting life as it is shown, which represents a profound psychological conditioning, the profound illusion of the “I.” So, this Realization of Truth is the Realization of Love, of Peace, the Realization of God.

Therefore, if this is something that makes sense to you – as I’ve been saying on the channel at the end of these meetings – leave your “like” and subscribe to the channel. I want to remind you: we have online, face-to-face meetings and also retreats, where we work with you, ok?

And here is the invitation, take a look at the video description and join our WhatsApp group. Ok? If that touches you, here’s the invitation and see you next time. Thanks for the meeting!
