What are we seeking? Mental consciousness. Real Consciousness. True Meditation. Your Divine Nature

The question is: what are we seeking? What are we actually looking for? Is it happiness, peace, love, freedom, spirituality, or God? Notice: there is a list of things we are looking for; these things, here and now, have an impalpable aspect – freedom, happiness, love, God, and truth. And there is another list of tangible things we are also looking for, a house, a car, a relationship. There is always the search for something in all of us, some are palpable, and others are not. But the question is: why do we seek what we are seeking? Why are we looking for what we are looking for? What are we looking for behind this we are looking for? What drives us to this quest? What turns us to this search?

What, in fact, are we trying to find in this search, in this encounter with what we are looking for?

We have a list of tangible things and another of intangible things, a list of things we can touch and another we cannot, but we have idealized this seek, this search, and we put ourselves towards it. Now we have something to verify with you here: do we actually know what this represents? This, what we look for, what we search for. We use the word “spirituality,” some people seek spirituality, others search for God, so we use the word God; others seek love, happiness, and peace, these are expressions we use, but do we know what this really means?

We know what the tangible things we are looking for are; we know what a relationship is – or we believe we do – a house, a car, a marriage, a family. All of these are projections within each of us. The mind in us projects these tangible things and also the intangible ones, but we actually don't know. If we apparently know what we are looking for, we actually don't know why we are looking for it, what we are looking for in what we seek. In other words, what does this really mean for us?

Everything we are looking for is actually the search for happiness. Everything we seek in life, we do it just to find happiness in it. The point is that we do not know what Happiness means. We are looking for love, but we do not know what Love means; we are looking for peace, but we do not know what Peace means. For us, love is what we find in a relationship with the other, what fulfills and satisfies us for a while, and when that stops fulfilling and satisfying us, we get rid of that so-called “love” to find another “love.” So, we mistake this encounter with Truth, which is Love – or the Truth of Love – for these encounters in relationships. As far as happiness is concerned, it is these encounters with what fulfills and satisfies us on an emotional level and makes us happy, only for a while as well, until it wears off, and we get tired of this so-called “happiness” to go in search of another “happiness.” What we also call peace is an idea we have about it when we relax, are quiet, and are not in conflict, we call that “the moment of peace” until it is broken by some form of conflict.

So, peace, love, and happiness are ideas we carry within us, beliefs we have about it, and we are looking for it. As far as God is concerned, we fall into the same trap, same trick. Notice that all these are tricks of the mind itself, idealizing, creating, projecting, and imagining this. All these kinds of things the mind imagines, idealizes, and goes in search, seeks, and after finding it, what it finds is temporary fulfillment and satisfaction. In fact, human beings are looking for something that in this search movement they know is a temporary search for fulfillment and satisfaction. Then, there is a quest within each of us, a search within each of us for Happiness, Truth, God, and Love. You see, we use the same words the mind knows within its common pursuit of fulfillment and satisfaction, but we put these expressions here with a different meaning. We are pointing to something outside the mind itself, outside that satisfaction itself, and temporary fulfillment the person, this “I,” this ego, is looking for.

The work here consists of investigating the Truth of what we are and, naturally, verifying the Truth about what, in fact, we are looking for. We are looking for ourselves, the Reality of our Being. In our Being is that Love, that Happiness, that Freedom, the Truth of God; it is That which, in the end, we are looking for or seeking. This is not a temporary fulfillment or satisfaction, but rather the Realization of Something outside of this known condition, this time that the mind knows, that thought knows, that puts us in this condition of temporary fulfillment and satisfaction. That is the time I have been calling psychological time. The human being is looking for something within time; that’s why we use expressions like “happiness is a fleeting thing.” Yes, that is the experience of the egoic mind, that mental consciousness. In that psychological time, all we know living in this identification with the “I,” with the ego, in the egoic mind, is fulfillment and pleasure in satisfaction, and we call it “happiness.” This temporary fulfillment and satisfaction in some form of pleasure we call “happiness”; that momentary fulfillment and satisfaction in some form of stillness, of emotional tranquility, we call “peace”; and that fulfillment and satisfaction in some form of affective, emotional, sentimental, or sexual gratification we call “love.”

Here we are pointing to you: the Truth that What we are looking for, we do not know, and what we know and are looking for is not the truth we are searching for. So, we are here under a trick of the ego itself; it has idealized, designed, and put itself in search of something we believe is what we are actually looking for. The egoic mind is a big mistake, a lie within each one of us. We identify with this “I,” this ego we assume we are; we are giving identity to what we believe to be, which is this “I,” this ego, the egoic mind, and it carries all of this. All it does is within a search for what it knows, so it is inevitable that all this idealized, created, mind-projected search is towards an illusion, the illusion of temporary satisfaction and fulfillment at some level of achievement, which it calls “love,” “peace,” “happiness,” or “God.”

In this matter of God, a mystical experience, a so-called “spiritual” experience, contact with that so-called “spirituality” the mind seeks, it calls this “encounter with God,” rituals, ceremonies, mystical practices, a contact with something apparently outside the mind within a delightful experience, a pleasant, wonderful, so-called “Divine” experience. We are under a big trap, a big trick created by the mind, supported by this egoic mind.

What is the truth about ourselves? That is the door that carries a key, the Truth about ourselves; the understanding of the Truth about ourselves is this encounter with that Being that transcends this body, this mind, and all this particular vision of the “I,” this consciousness of the “I,” the mind, the ego. This contact with the Reality of your Being is the contact with Truth, Happiness, Freedom, Love, and God. Now, you need to understand something: this contact – which is what happens when you become aware of the Truth about yourself – is not a contact between two things, between you and God. The acknowledgment of the Reality of your Being is the acknowledgment of the Truth that the only Reality present is the Reality of God. Then a door opens, and that door reveals What we are really looking for.

All human beings are really looking for is to come back home. Here it is paradoxical because we have never left home, and yet we are all in exile, outside of our origin, our place of origin – we are at home, but we are not aware of this home that is present. So, we all feel exiled, out of our space, of our place of origin. This contact or this Revelation of your Being is a door that opens and now reveals What, in fact, every human being is searching or looking for, the Truth of Love, Peace, Freedom, Happiness, and God. That is the Reality of Spirituality; it is not of “someone spiritual,” but rather the verification of the Natural Mystery, of this Real Consciousness, Presence, Being, the Truth of your Divine Nature. This is what we are looking for. This is what we are seeking.

Here, together with you, we are working on this issue of ending this sense of “I,” of ego, this contact with this door to walk through, to become aware of the truth behind this illusion, which is the sense of an “I,” of a separate identity in this illusory, idealistic search, in this programmed and planned search within this dream, this illusion of being able to find within your own mind What, actually, is beyond the mind. So, the Reality of what we seek is not within the mind, the known, not within that imagination that we have in our minds about love, peace, happiness, spirituality, and God, absolutely not. It is the end of all this, the end of what is known, of imagination; it is the encounter with this Truth that interests us.

Thus, this contact with your Being is the simple Revelation of your Being, of the only Reality present, the end of this sense of “I,” and the key that opens this door is the Truth of Self-Awareness when we pay attention to this movement of the “I,” when we begin to observe ourselves, our reactions, feelings, thoughts, including our gestures, our tone of voice, our way of addressing people and relating to the world around us. When we start to bring awareness to ourselves, we are paying attention to ourselves, here and now, so we come across this door, and we have the key, and this reveals this Self-Awareness, this attention we place on ourselves at that moment, on what is going on here and now. Then, it is not about seeking, searching, or leaving this place for another place, but rather about becoming aware here and now.

We do not place time as a factor for the Realization of this Truth. To open this door, we eliminate the illusion of time, thus we eradicate the illusion of the quest, the search, the illusion of “leaving here to go to some other place,” and we begin to notice here and now, at this instant, all this movement of the “I” within us, all this movement of ego-identity, all these motives and reasons for this illusory identity. When we begin to observe in ourselves the presence of fear, anguish, anxiety, worry, all of our programmed behavior within egocentrism, restlessness, concerns, and actions based on memory reactions, when we investigate our egocentrism, when we look at it, when we approach that look at ourselves, at that moment of attention there is an approach to the Truth of Self-Awareness.

So, this key carries with it what I have been putting here on the channel – we have a playlist about it – which is the presence of True Meditation. It is something fundamental for realizing the Truth of your own Being, this contact with the Reality outside the mind, outside the “I,” the ego, this vision of yourself, the discard of this ego-identity that comes in this Full Attention on ourselves, in that contact with the Truth of Self-Awareness and in the revelation of True Meditation; this contact with the Truth that transcends this psychological time, this sense of an “I,” of a separate identity in this quest, in this search for something that this “I,” this ego imagines.

Here on the channel, we have been talking about the importance of this True Meditation in a practical way because it is something fundamental for this Realization, for this True verification of what we are looking for, searching for. That contact with the Truth of your Being is all that matters, then that door opens because we have the key to this Attention on ourselves, of Self-Awareness, of True Meditation. That door opens, and what is Real shows, reveals itself as the Nature of Happiness, the Nature of Being, Peace, Love, and God. That is contact with the Awakening of Consciousness or Spiritual Enlightenment.

That is our subject here on the channel; everything you are seeking or searching for is not what you are looking for; it is not what you are really looking for. Your real quest or search is for the end of that quest and search; it consists of the Realization of that Happiness, which I have called the Reality of your Being, Consciousness, and Happiness. So, this contact with the Reality of your Being is the one with the Reality of What is outside time and, therefore, this sense of “I.” Then, our search comes true when there is no more search, when Reality, the Truth of your Being, reveals itself as Love, Peace, Freedom, and Happiness. Ok?

This is the subject here within our channel. If this is something that makes sense to you, leave your “like” and subscribe to the channel. I want to remind you: we have online, face-to-face meetings, and also retreats, where we are working with those who approach. We have our WhatsApp group in the video description, okay?

See you! Thanks for the meeting!
